Title: Alcoholics Eponymous
Post by: ajax13 on May 22, 2018, 12:21:37 AM
In the litany of phoney stories excreted by All About Receiving Cash, a big old smelly whopper is the claim that the Wiz and the AARColytes are running Alcoholics Anyonymous meetings.  Out of 600 or so "graduates", somewhere in the neighborhood of one in ten are publicly exposed in order to sell the sect to the unsuspecting public.  This includes the stomach-churning free promos given to AARC over the years by the Vancouver Sun, the Calgary Herald, Alberta Report, and other wretched media emissions.  The following flatus from the Herald concerns a young man that I knew.  I was his rugby coach for two seasons during the period that the article claims he was being consumed by addiction.  The Herald story is, like all AARC promos, absurd and false.  This kid's Dad, in what was a responsible act, actually phoned me when the boy was in tenth grade to advise me that they were hosting a party and the kids attending would be consuming alcohol in a supervised setting.  My son was a teammate of the boy and I picked him up from the party.
Not only is a completely fake history of the kid's addiciton revealed, but a tale of criminal activity is also exposed, with no regard for the boy's right to privacy and confidentiality.  As AARC is a behavioiur modification program, the goalposts are always switched from treating a "brain disease' to modifying behaviours.  AARC is one big ol' fraud.
