Isabelle Zehnder - Advocate or Sue’s Marketing? - Part I

August 21st, 2007

Although with the recent publicity and rumors surrounding Sue Scheff have apparantly provoked Isabelle Zehnder of CAICA to distance herself, the relationship between the two in the past has been well documented, including in the words of Zehnder and Scheff themselves.

Like Sue Scheff, on the surface, Isabelle Zenhder appears to be a legitimate advocate. Her website includes comprehensive information about the dangers of programs. What most people don’t realize is most of that comprehensive information is copied verbatim from other sources without their permission. This, by itself, wouldn’t be much of a concern. What does concern many, however, is that Isabelle Zehnder refers kids to programs through Sue Scheff.

Just curious - what makes anyone think Izzy and Sue are no longer friends and professional colleagues?

Because she seemingly had a change of heart after reading the WWASPS transcripts?  That is ludicrous for all the reasons pointed out in the above referenced article.

If you think about it, all Izzy did in response to be outted in the Patti Atwoods emails was take down her links to Pure, delete Sue as Caica's advocate of the month, and get rid of blogs like the Whitmore one and those that promoted her relationship with Sue Scheff.

These actions, in and of themselves, tell us nothing about the status of Izzy and Sue's relationship yet it seems some people are all too willing to accept them as proof positive that Izzy has "seen the light" and as such, redeemed herself.

Personally, I find that given the lack of any formal statement by either Izzy or Sue as well as the failure by Izzy to include the lawsuit against Sue Scheff and Focal Point Academy on the CAICA Litigation and Program News webpages, there is only one logical conclusion one can draw.

So what's the real deal?  Is this all an elaborate ruse?  A way for Izzy to cover her ass so to speak before the news of the lawsuit against Scheff was announced?

The most glaring is, why is Izzy Positive Family Solutions website still down?  Why does her blog page refer readers to a website that is parked and "under construction?"
Doesn't Izzy claim "coaching" is her only means of income?

All I know... is when I was STUPID and still talking to Isabelle.... anytime she mentioned Sue, she NEVER mentioned her last name and ALWAYS talked about her like she was her BEST FRIEND.

Personally, IMO, I think the "distance" is just on the surface trying to CYA.

All I know is Sue Scheff has been sued by a parent and Isabelle Zehnder has yet to put that news on her "educational" website.

As such, one might wonder why.  What logical explanation is there for not including this lawsuit against Sue Scheff, PURE and Focal Point along with the many other CAICA lists on its litigation page?

I can think of several, including the most obvious explanation.

Can you?

Here's a clue:

Also wonder why Isabelle Zehnder doesn't have Harbor Oaks Boarding School on her "Watch List" since this "school" is being investigated by the State of N.C.

OH WAIT - hasn't it been reported that both Isabelle Zehnder and Sue Scheff refer children to this program? :o
