If they were gone for two days before leaving Utah---how did they even know how to contact this Harris person, IF THAT IS WHAT THEY EVEN DID?

WHO ELSE was involved in this?

Why does "someone else" always have to be involved? These guys are old enough to change their own diapers, if you haven't noticed. They could've had a fragment of a brain cell to call information. They aren't two years old, and they aren't retarded.

And they did contact Harris. The PD has proof.

I do have a life, and I'm visiting the Whitmore right now, and they happen to be on schedule. I'm doing some stuff on the computer in the last couple days, and I just thought I'd drop in on this forum as a sort of side thing to do.

That, and some stuff on here is just amusing. I like a good laugh.

But just to make it clear, no, I'm not "damage control". I'm just standing up for what I believe, and what I know is right. This is a personal issue for me, not a chore. I don't know what gave you that idea.

I'm a former student from Whitmore, posting on here because I feel the need to stand up for what I know is true.

They're not complete idiots. They'd know how to hide themselves. Doesn't take a rocket scientist. :nworthy:

"At the time we researched, we didn't find anything about the Sudweeks except the Who Am I Discovery site.  And we believed what was told to us by Sue Scheff.  We also were pretty naive about the troubled teen business and really didn't know too much what to look for.  We made an unannounced trip to Whitmore and were sucked in by Cheryl.  It was only towards the end that we started to become suspecious that things weren't as they seemed.  Cheryl didn't answer e-mails or phone calls, was never available.  And on my visits I started observing things that didn't set too well with me, and started asking questions."

Let me ask you a couple things. What did Sue tell you, exactly?  How did Cheryl "suck you in"? And did you ever suspect we were on a trip at the time you tried to reach her, or maybe in town? If you tell when you tried to contact her, I could most likely let you know the reasons why your attempts went unanswered. What things did you observe that "didn't set too well" with you? Thank you for taking a moment to answer my questions.

Oh, and just so everyone knows, I'm looking for valid answers from the individual who originally stated things about these subjects. So no, I'm not seeking a pointless blurb from a random anon. Thank you.[ This Message was edited by: mouse on 2005-06-14 08:47 ]

Wait a minute; I got a problem with that one.

I'm friends with Rob, and I back him up 100%. I'm not out, and I won't be.

If you're reading this Rob, you know who this is. Don't pay attention to those lies. The truth will come out in the end. Just hang in there.

Exactly. Kids screw up sometimes, like anywhere else in the world, but they always get back on their feet. And by the way, if you'd take a moment to notice, every teen is a "troubled teen". Who doesn't have problems? The few adults do regard as "good" are the ones either never exposed to drugs, sex, and rock & roll, or just the best at hiding it. At Whitmore, we've learned why we acted the defiant ways we did, and resolving our feelings from the past. I'm not saying these kids go home as "perfect" children, because they don't. I'm just saying they go home as better people with higher values and morals to guide them through life.[ This Message was edited by: mouse on 2005-06-14 08:39 ]

"thats what im saying. How is Leah's grandmother going to complain about that kind of stuff. You dont see her talking about her son-in-law. No need for personal information, but Leah shared great stories about him with us. Maybe that is not any of anyone's business though. Who knows? But then again, I am guessing a lot of money did not go into that one. -Peace"

Right on. Nothing you're accusing the Sudweeks of is even a fraction of what I know for a fact your (ex?)son-in-law has done to his own family. And I don't even know all of it. I don't see you fussing too much over that, grandma. I was pissed when I heard it, and I dislike Leah and have never met her family! Why don't you care, granny? Can't get much money out of that one?

Who Am I Discovery/Whitmore / Graduating from Whitmore

Okay, and that's why I've been accepted into one of the country's top universities, right?

Ha. Some people really don't know what they're talking about.

If I was treated the way a lot of people around this forum are talking about, believe me, I would've run away the first chance I had. I don't take bs, and Whitmore is no exception. If I'd been treated badly, I would've left. If I somehow hadn't been able to, I'd be telling the world right now if things of the abusive sort did go down.

I like the Whitmore. It's a pretty cool place to be.

"well granny..since you are so deadset on getting facts str8 about Leah..get facts str8 about my friends. The "two girls who ran away." Neither of them were beaten. Casie punched Hannah in the face...nothing was condoned, and Casie always looked for the chance to get her two cents in. You know those little dogs who will run up on bigger dogs thinking they are all tough? That is exactly what Casie was. Then they realize they arent once they get their crap tossed around and piss themselves..yup, thats what Casie was. Ask Leah..she will vouche on that one. Leah didnt like that girl either. All I am saying is that you need to get some things right...if you are so deadset on everytihng about Leah being right. I can already see what you are going to ask me about the other kids you mentioned, but I was there..but not there (know what I mean) so I have no room to talk about those. (not looking to argue, just stating.) Thanks."

"

I agree all the way with that one.

One more thing, to granny... ask Leah how many kids she hit, how many times she humiliated others at the Whitmore? How young was one of the guys she screwed here, while she was how old? I think it was maybe 13 and 17? You know that's called statutory rape, and you know that's a crime? Poor little Leah, right... poor Leah, she never does anything wrong. The little saint.

How pathetic.

Who Am I Discovery/Whitmore / how many laws has joyce harris broken?

I suppose you have the right to your opinion. And although I'm not who you think I am, I do know her and don't recall all that happening to such an extreme. I didn't know Caitlyn too well, but enough to know she missed group a lot when I was there because she went to bed early almost every day, around 7 or 8, and that includes Sundays. And I haven't heard her yelled at any more than a few times in my time there. Everyone there regards her as the one to rarely do anything wrong. I remember because it pissed me off because she seemed so perfect at things. So I don't know what you're talking about there; maybe things were different before my time. But probably not.

Thank you for not trying to be offensive. You do have a right to your opinion and telling your side, or your "truth", of the story. However, I strongly believe that is not the way things are, were, or ever will be at the Whitmore, and I think I've expressed this to its fullest extent.

Oh, one more thing... as for threatening Leah, she's got what she deserves coming to her, called HELL, so no one needs mess with that. Destiny has a way with evil, and it's not a good one.

I know Stephan's mom, and that's so true. He would have been out of there in a second if she even suspected abuse of any kind.

And anon, I belong wherever I choose to be. And I choose that, not any of you.[ This Message was edited by: mouse on 2005-06-13 14:22 ]

Who Am I Discovery/Whitmore / TO THE PARENTS OF THE BOYS WHO RAN AWAY
« on: June 12, 2005, 09:38:00 PM »
Because I got bored. When I went home, I started applying for jobs, colleges, and just overall setting up my life. After living for a while, I visited Whitmore and when I was on the plane here, I remembered this site. I got bored today, and decided to post some stuff. It's pretty dramatic around this forum, and that's better than boredom.

If you're implying I know something about Joey singing and dancing, I don't. Even if someone did try to force him, he wouldn't do that, and I know it. He always played the tough guy.

I'm visiting because I missed everyone here. And no, I don't have a date, but I'm sure you're very proud of your daughter.
