Title: Grassroots Plutocracy
Post by: ajax13 on February 02, 2011, 06:14:38 PM
"In the last two years, David and Charles Koch have jumped from each being worth $16 billion to now being worth $21.5 billion. That means together they went from being worth $31 billion dollars to being worth $42 billion today. David is now the richest man in New York City, and the pair are now on the nation’s top ten list for richest Americans.
However, at a time when the Koch brothers were enjoying spectacular financial gains, Koch Industries laid off well over 2,000 people."

in the grand scheme of things ,2000 people aint shit, unless you are one of them. I worked for a company that laid off 181 of 220 employees, the remainder sold off the back stock of the intrest, and then got fired. Buisiness is fuckin cutthroat. just cause koch brothers did it makes it different just how? 2000 jobs is 2000 jobs. :nods:

Hey if were gonna speak about things that really suck, can we talk about the lies that Al Gore told in "An inconvienient truth". and how that shifty profiteering bastard ,tries to base a scam on non scientific"facts" and still gets found out cause he's an idiot. Ice core samples prove that co2 has squat to do with global warming. Its sunspot activity, genius. Al Gore is a second rate snake oil salesman. His lies are even feeble.Carbon credit my ass.Liar.

The point of the original link was the fallacious (fellatious?) image of the Tea Party as a grassroots political movement.  It is the project of two plutocrats.
If you for one second thought it was a good idea to take the word of another plutocrat, in this case Al Gore, feel free to write me a cheque for $500 and I'll see to it that a heroin-crazed twelve-year-old white suburban girl gets the help she needs to deal with her diseased feelings.
