I think that patrick knew deep down that outside of cedu he was a total nobody, who was to stupid to go out and be successful on his own. wow! What a blast from the past. There are so many people on that list that I totally forgot ever existed. It a mixed bag of emotions for me. Some of them now that you brought them up I can remember.
I remember Lisa and Bret as being very out of place. It was like june and ward cleaver stepping into a nightmare. [I think I was there a few years before you]. I got the feeling that they just wanted to be me in a rural area, and RMA paid the rent.
John Aaron, I remember him as a backwards logger, and brain dead.

I do not think that I ever met Stacy.
I liked Dana. I could never understand why she left NYC for Bonners Ferry. I always thought that she'd pull it together and leave that place. I was hopeful, that for her RMA was a respite on her journey not the final destination.
Rea and Shannon I can not remember what they looked like. For some reason, I think of wrinkles when I think of Rea. When I think of them together, I have a vague notion of mountian climbers.
Fred and P Thomson, Patrick Stambusky, Mike Bonner, and Ken bulky guy .. I have no memory of them at all. Maybe they were after my time.
Vickie Jones screaming? Wow. Things change. In my mind, I have her pegged as a struggling hippie looking for her place in this world.
My memory of Nina is feeling just sad for her. Growing up on that campus must have been horrible. I always tried to imagine how she'd describe her envirnoment to friends at school. It must have been very rough for her. For Nina, I always wished that she'd been given a chance for a 'normal' life.
Richard Armstrong. I remember him more as a marshmellow. He'd get fired up in raps, but it clearly such a farce. Prior to reading about what he did to Twila, I would have considered him harmless. He was a big guy, and assummed that his size made him scary. Not! Richard was not the brightest bulb, and hence very easy to work with as a student.
Caroline Wolff and Randy Eide. OMG ... WHAT LOSERS. Straight out Synanon to CEDU, and then RMA. If I remember correctly, Randy never finished high school. Caroline was trapped in a bad relationship with Randy. Talk about zero sense of self. Wow! who would they be if it were not for thier jobs with RMA. They just seemed young and clueless. From an employers perspective they were probably quite the deal. They'd hang-out on the smoker's porch when they were not working. I think this is the first post I've seen about them. So, I am assuming that they've moved on either together or seperate. Maybe RMA stated that one needed a to graduate from HS to work at the school, and they both had to leave.

I would be very surprised if neither were still doing this kind of work. I can think of no other occupation except for prison guard for either. I despise Caroline Wolff still to this day. She got a tit job when I was in Quest (I was in Quest for almost a year) and used to show all the girls and any guys she liked her new goods. This was what I hated most about both of them. Favorites. Obvious feelings of preference for kids based on I don't know what. They chose the kids they liked and treated them like friends- every other person had to hear their wrath. in my last post i was talking abotu Mark Trivelpiece and Todd Dagraff. I also noticed you mentioned Glenn Sutton who also was in my summit, and Alan Milar, who is now running RMA. William Abel no longer worked at Cedu-RS as of 1991 (when i got sent to cedu). Pam still worked at Cedu and she was the Quest family head, and later became Discovery family head. As of 1992 the Abels were still married and lived on the Cedu-RS Campus, with their 6 year old son. I split Cedu for the final time in July 1992, I don't know what happened to the Abels or any other Cedu staff after that. They can all burn in hell as far as I'm concerned! :flame:

You're right Dishduty...(BTW - I love your name. I did dishes for a year straight at Cedu RS...seriously a year. Might have had like 3 days off. Still have nightmares of scrubbing those huge 2 feet tall pots and pans. Would be in there for 2 hours scrubbing and then come out to the floor and just reek. Still have problems doing dishes to this day!)

Yes he did have sex with at least 1 CEDU student. He never got officially caught - at least until 1990. I think he took 1 or 2 hiatuses over the years I suspect he did this when things got precarious.

Teresa Tompkins (now Teresa Dodd, don't know she ever got remarrried)- She has angry and fake written all over her face. She was my team leader and tried to put me on b.s. restrictions. I think she enjoys giving people consequences.
Linda Daggy- The most uneducated therapist I've ever known. Half the time she doesn't know what shes talking about and is most of the time trying to make her students miserable by having her manipulate your parents on conference calls. Very very deep hatred for that woman.
Mark Hewitt- A complete idiot who gets paid to make the students on his team look miserable by his ridiculous programs. i seriously think that guy gets a plesaure out making kids look like fools.
Paul Johnson- Ah. The man who runs the whole show. He created the place that made my life horrible for the two years I was there. He kicked some people out while i was there and lied about. How low can you get? true piece of crap. Some of those kids he kicked out were my friends.

I had a strong dislike of all the staff members except for one Ph.D. at Timberlawn in Dallas. The doctors bowed down to the nurses and were afraid of them. The doctors also fell asleep in sessions. The sleeping sessions were the most helpful one of all. If the doc was asleep there was no mention of my sexual orientation.

I actually liked Dan Earle. I thought he was a descent guy. I have no memory of his raps. He was in my I and Me, and he seemed to be second or third fiddle to the other staff. Oddly, or maybe not oddly, I do not remember the other staff in my I and Me. Dan seemed to flit in and out of the program. I assumed that he had a bit of personal wealth. I had a hard time understanding the relationship with his wife, Carmen. They did not appear that close in ideology, or in marriage. I wonder why they choose to carpet bag between running springs and bonner's ferry -- staff training? Could it be that RMA actually had a staff development plan? That is a scary thought.

You know it really pisses me off when everyone assumes that the people who went to CEDU in the 70's and 80's were CEDU followers! From the time I graduated CEDU in the early 80's people did not want to hear the things that I had to say about CEDU and the staff there. Years and years later, after the Amity school in Italy was closed by the government because of massive sexual allegations made, another former student called me up and apologized to me and said "all these years you were right about it all and I am really sorry that I didn't listen to you"
So do me a favor all of the people who want to clump the 70's and 80's people together, don't.
There are many people from my stay there who went into CEDU as older people. Having at that time formed more of our own opinions, many of the older students left CEDU and just got on with their lives. There were others such as myself who struggled with it 10 15 and 20 years down the line. Then there were those who feel that it was the turning point in their lives. The truth is that for each person who went, each one had a different reaction and understanding of the program and the school.
I don't mind reading and hearing about the horrors of CEDU. I don't mind hearing from the people who are gung ho about it either. It was never the school itself that was corrupt, it was the people who ran that system who were corrupt. Many of these people are still working with kids at other facilities. You can Google their names and they come up...I have and have even emailed these people to confront them about THEIR responsibilities in the whole CEDU mess and after affects. What is very scary is that Marci Padgett now works with little girls from grade 5-12, Tim Brace works with kids and so does Rudy Bentz.

My impression of him was of a dude who seemed a bit on the juvenile side. Melodramatic, hyper, somewhat lecherous in vibe, but certainly not to the extent of some of the other staff, such as rookey.
I didn't really think too much of him either way when I was there. Not one of my favorites, but I knew that raps with him weren't going to be too brutal, since his objective was really to just get everyone to cry their eyes out.
I hear stories from CB grads that say he was the only nice guy there, while I had an RMA alum confide in me about his private one-on-one "smoosh" sessions he would have with the male students, which I believe was corroborated by someone else.
Anyway, it's staff like this who I find the most interesting, since they seem to be the most difficult to pin down. They tend to fly under the radar by hiding in plain sight. You could have hours long conversations with him and he seems like the nicest guy in the world, but then again, he's still in the program, believes in it, and advocates it, so... hmmm.
Caroline, Rookey, Randy, etc.. those guys are easy, because they were such big jerkfaces. While Tim could be likened to a big, slightly retarded teddy bear with grabby hands.

Possibly Bill Lane, or people who worked for/with him? Ex-Synanonite and long-time CEDU employee Bill Lane started working for Mel Wasserman back in 1974. He started doing CEDU's transport back in 1993, give or take a year, and did so until they closed. He still does transport under his own name now. Defamation 101 (not legal advice)
Defamation cannot be "illegal" as it is a civil and not criminal matter in the US. Defamation comes in two forms, slander (which is spoken) and libel (which is written). In court it really doesn't matter and both are generally referred to as defamation. In order for a defamation claim to succeed it must be a statement of fact (rather than a statment of opinion) that is untrue and it must actually cause demonstratable harm with admissable evidence. The onus is on the plaintiff to prove the statement was false. In this case, it's based off something you said... and it's rather hard to prove you did not say something, especially when so many others claim you did.
Actual damages are determined by the harm directly caused. Punitive damages are determined on whether a person knew that the statement was false at the time it was uttered (called actual malice). If there was no actual malice, and the false statement was a mistake, there can be no punitive damages. Special conditions apply to public figures. If you have spoken out about a matter of public concern relating to these schools, that might make you a limited purpose public figure. If that's the case, you have to prove actual malice in addition to proving a statement false in order to even win the case. This is very, very, difficult as you would have to prove each and every statement made against you was made with at the very least a doubt into it's truth. If you cannot prove that doubt with admissible evidence, you lose.
In the US, winning a defamation case is VERY difficult, and should you decide to sue any member of this forum, I can recommend a few California attorneys who do not like programs at all, know of CEDU and would likely be willing to take this case on a pro-bono basis (or at the very least a contingent fee basis). Keep in mind that these guys are mean motherfuckers and if you lose, you will likely be held responsible for *all* legal fees and court costs incurred (thanks to California's anti-SLAPP legislation...). They will bleed you dry and laugh with their clients about it. You'll be in debt for the rest of your life, and don't expect any mercy. These particular lawyers have gone up against programs with top-dollar lawyers and have won hands down. If you feel like taking a risk that will likely blow up in your face is appropriate... have at it. Unless you can prove with admissible evidence that you, for example, did not say that you immolated a homeless man, you're SOL.
Considering that multiple people have reported (http://http://www.fornits.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=27298#p329988) witnessing first hand your story of burning a homeless man, i'd recommend shutting the fuck up before a hypothetical defamation case turns into a murder investigation (murder has no statue of limitations). If you indeed did commit such a crime, the last thing you'd want is to make public record out of other people's testimony into the matter. If you sue people for defamation, they'll respond in kind with declarations from CEDU students who allegedly witnessed what you said. That's not something you want.

Well, you can read the Russ+ sibling's version on one of these threads. You are, however, correct, his attack was an act typical of a bully. One correction, his stepson had not yet entered the shower. Apparently Russ "thought" that his stepson had stolen a gun from Russ' house. So, on Christmas morning he decided to storm into his mother-in-law's house with a billy club and have an "intervention" with his stepson. Now, his stepson was never charged with a theft, nor was there enough information to warrant an investigation. However, the District Attorney had enough information tfrom the police report to charge Russ. His in-laws were NOT the ones who pressed charges.
I am sure this will light up the Russ sibling contingent for another assaultive blast on this site. Can bullying be a genetic trait?

I arrived when Dan and Mare were still laid back and an Eastern European version of hippie. Both were calm and soft-spoken for about five or six months then first Mare and later Dan became loud, though not particularly abusive. But Mare sure had some lungs.
Does anyone remember Brian Bates? That guy gave me the creeps. He seemed to really like hugging too much for it to have been healthy. And being a very straight male, having him give me an "affectionate" hug made me want to give him a knob in the dollies. And every rap I was in with him, he singled me out as his only indictment. Yet he never knew anything about me, which was the case for 90% of the school, but still felt like I was his personal project. I would not wish his attentions on anyone.
And I have no clue why he was there or how he got hired. His background was a goal keeper for a semi-pro soccer team. I guess that qualifies someone to be a therapist and counselor to teens these days. You used to need schooling and licenses for that stuff.
He was about six foot five, ugly like baboon-ugly, drove this rattling pickup and smelled like a cheap wine factory. Dumb as an Idaho potato, I remember him trying to explain physics to him one day when he wanted to build a log bridge that had to have used half the trees on campus to span maybe a forty foot section ravine along the Quest Trail. His plan was to bury the supports a whole five feet in the ground, along a water drainage path, thinking this fifty ton monstrosity was going to survive more than a week standing. I had to lobby other staff to get the bridge canceled as it's collapse would have taken the mountain down with it. It was like the Golden Gate Bridge made out of logs. Guy was crazy dumb.
Anyone know how long he stayed with the schools? Knowing him, he's probably trying to start up his own program too. Soccer-as-therapy or something.

What year did brian get hired?
I believe we had a brian that went through our truth with us, and this was in july of 87. Your description of him sounds similar to this guy, although im not sure he would be going through the truth so late, after he had been there a whie.
He was tall, lanky, wore glasses, when he touched you you felt as if you had been slimed. I remember girls yelling at him about it in the truth. Kinda talked with one of those ray romano/kermit the frog/guy who shouts out "hey" in "we <3 katamari", retarded throaty type voices.
I dont recall any wine smell from him, but it was a long time ago. I also dont remember if he was a new staff or not. (I had only been there a week, so I wasnt really paying attention.) I do recall that he didnt stick around too long, but am not sure if he was fired, or just left.

That is definitely Brian Bates! He arrived in late 84 I would say. He was there in July 86 when I graduated so odds are high he was there in 87 when you were around. Lanky, glasses....he's the guy. I would imagine he would have left via firing. He was one of those types who would hang on to anything, so he certainly wouldn't have been the type to quit. But how long he stuck around after you were there, I wouldn't mind knowing. He was the most unremarkable person who would also be memorable. Strange combo, but he was one weird dude.

I dont ever remember seeing him, and he was indeed working admissions during my tenure.
First off, I don't even recall where the admissions office even was when I first got there, but eventually, they moved into emmerson, once it was built. I have no idea who any of those people were, we barely exchanged one word to each other. They were like ants, working diligently underneath a house or something, without the owners even knowing there is some series insect labor going on below them.
Maybe that was my own experience, though. Maybe other students had more contact with them, such as leadership.
The only extensive contact I had with anyone in that place was dealing with transcripts and graduation, and by extensive, I mean more than two sentences. Nobody went through propheets, nobody sat in on raps. If there were a few individuals, they were the exception, and I don't remember them. We rarely, if ever, got admin people over in our sector.
The one admin person I recall who crossed the lines and jumped into RMA therapy was the woman in charge of admittance (as opposed to admissions), Cydniey. She was the one who basically orchestrated your admittance process, such as the paperwork, strip search, haircut (if needed). So in some ways, she was admin, in others, she was staff. If you were staff, you went through the program, because you were working with the kids. She seemed to be a nice enough woman, but I had such a negative association with her, I didn't like her much. I was in a few exercises with her in raps/workshop-type things, and it sure seemed as if the ideology had just bitchslapped her. She definitely appeared to be dealing with the WTF part of the process. Yeah, you stupid bitch, what do you think you had been preparing us for? Therapy?
No idea what happened to her. I don't even remember if she was still around when I graduated. I believe so...

I definitely remember similar experiences where "staff" who were not part of the program yet but really just hired help for other things suddenly being in a rap or propheet and having that WTF!!!?? reaction on their faces.
Chuck Selent was one of them. He was part of my Summit or I and Me workshop, yet I don't think he had ever been in any other propheet prior, maybe a couple of raps. He was just then becoming more of a full-fledged staff member and all I remember was him being very resistant to the opening of the workshop where they tell you that you have to obey all of the rules then go on to suggest there will be violence. That part where they say there will be No Violence, unless otherwise directed... He had a real problem with that one. But he had also just started on some sort of herbal supplement regimen where you had to take these pills or whatever every day, cost him a thousand dollars or something and when they told him he couldn't take them during the workshop he nearly walked out and quit his job.
H eventually backed down, but he looked shell-shocked from that point onward. I don't remember him doing much while in there. He contributed little, said little, and just looked like he had woken up in an insane asylum and wasn't quite sure how he had gotten there.
I do remember Lon Woodbury. He's still a huge part of the system. He is the one who interacts with parents and therapists on the outside and gets people to send their teens to places. He's deep, deep, deep in to it all. Very corrupt. But while I was there in '84-'86 he was on campus, had an office in that underground lair beneath the girls dorms and the library. He dressed like a leprechaun in a green tweed coat, corduroy pants and he smoked a pipe all the time. A very odd individual. But he never sat in any raps or propheets. But he was in the dining room for lunch every day so you saw him often. But it was a 9-5 job for him so he was gone for dinner and never hung out with students. He appeared harmless, only because you didn't know he was The Man who got kickbacks for getting parents to send their kids to Hell.
And there were a lot of employees who worked under the girls dorms who you just never saw. One of the few places that was locked all the time. Very hidden. The people in there came and went without a word spoken to anyone really. Just little minions doing the all the paperwork and billing. Even Hitler had paper pushers.
But only certain staff went from being helpers to therapists. Will Vernard was staff before I arrived and after and he just did maintenance work. But everyone liked him. Never showed up in any raps as far as I know. Lou, the guy who worked at the farm was on and off with raps. Sometimes he was there, sometimes not. Yet he had basically the same job description as Will Vernard. And the night watchman once appeared in a rap, but he was never made "staff."
So I kind of wonder how some went from helpers to therapists? Hindsight lets me surmise they had a process for weeding out who would conform and who would not. In the CEDU Documentary, one of the videos has a former staff member at CEDU describing how they sent him a questionnaire with questions like; "Do you consider corporal punishment in the school an acceptable form of discipline?" Answers would be very revealing. In this way they could find people who would not be too opposed to being abusive towards kids or looking the other way while others were. And I don't think Will Vernard was the type who would have condoned that. And yet they were there daily and had to see what was going on. Did they stick around, heads in the sand just for the paycheck?

One of the few places on campus Id never been to. While I was there, Tim Brace's apartment was there, and the other part was the crystal cave, (so named because it was so fucking cold during the winter) a dorm that was sometimes in use, sometimes not. I think you used to get haircuts on part of that first floor, too.
Oh, and how's this for Lou? Both he and Wendy went through the entire program. I'd been in a few raps with Lou simply as a staff participant, and everything Id ever heard him say in raps was uttered in the same low-key tone as if he were just talkin with you out on the farm.
Chuck was similarly low-key during the time I was there, but later accounts state that he became a power staff, or at least tried too.

Lou had that quiet, composed cowboy kind of voice. He did have a bit of a retired drill sergeant demeanor, not seeming to be too comfortable with undisciplined kids, but I could see him going through the program as a staff and not making any waves or even being noticed much while he did. Kind of Chuck in my I and Me workshop. There, but not really there.
But Chuck I could tell had some anger issues just below the surface. His facial muscles were always tight, he was a perfectionist and those kind generally have anger issues towards others who settle for "good enough." It is hard to imagine him becoming a full fledged staff member because he appeared to be a bit like Joe Sweeney in that he seemed to not want to do anything more than build stuff with his hands. Chuck built the pit in the living room all by himself. The cowhide seat cushions, the flag stone floor and rock fireplace. He was good at it, even though the cowhide had to go. But I can see him becoming power staff. If he became staff, he would have turned to the dark side quickly. As I have mentioned, I think CEDU/RMA had a system for weeding out the weak willed, those who would condone, participate in, or turn a blind eye to abuses. Chuck would fit that description. And didn't he later become an escort too? Following Richard Armstrong's footsteps?
But while I was there, I had no problems with him. He was pretty quiet, didn't say much, didn't participate in hardly anything and when he did, you never noticed he was there.
Funny and related story; I had a guy in my peer group named Mark. We were in the Brothers or whatever propheet where they give you characters to play like Dudley Do-Right. During a rap or something, someone said I should talk to him and I said I didn't know him well enough to comment on anything in his life. That I never even saw him around, had no idea who he hung out with. Someone then asked an older student who was in the propheet with us to say something to him because he was his dorm head. I jumped in and said I was in the dorm too and that Mark wasn't in the dorm with us. The dorm head agreed. Then Mark said..."I am in your dorm. I've been in your dorm for six months..." After the propheet we talked to the other three members of the dorm who all agreed there was some other guy in there but weren't sure what his name was. Six months! Talk about being invisible. He got reamed hard in the propheet and later in raps for being a ghost. I actually envied him. To remain anonymous so long in the program, nobody yelling at you, nobody even noticing you for months. God that would have been sweet!
So during the rest of the propheet whenever we had to go around the room and everyone says their character part, he had to stand up and say 'Hi, my name is Mark. You might not know me, but I have been living in your dorm for the past six months." Poor guy.

You have to admit, that's a pretty funny lug. Especially when you realize that it says faaar more about the school than it did about mark and his dormmates.
I cant conceive of being able to fly under the radar for as long as six months like that. I'd say he had Harry's invisibility cloak, but Rowling hadn't even written it into existence yet.

Michael Allgood was somewhat of an enigma. While all the other staff would blow you away by yelling and try to humiliate you, Allgood could speak in a normal tone and make you want to commit suicide. He had interesting powers and knowledge that I often wonder were some results of Holocaust experiments or something. I'll never really figure that guy out.

I hate every staff member that had anything to do with Cedu. I think they should all be put in jail. They were either evil themselves or to scared to say anything about what went on there, or to stupid to know. Anyway you look at it they are all guilty of the abusive, devastating mistreatment of the children that where put in there care. And to let a man like James Lee Crummel anywhere near us is fucking a joke. I was there from 92-94, which was the time this monster was aloud on campus. I liked running away too. So I was one of these monsters targets. Thank GOD I am still alive. If parents can go to jail for letting there kids have a post prom party with underage drinking then all these people should go to jail. It is child neglect, child abuse just for starters and letting James Lee Crummel anywhere nears us should put all Cedu staff in jail for a long, long time. These people were in essence our guardians at the time. They were suppose to protect us, not put us in the hands of peer evil. I have blocked out as much I as I can about this evil place and since it's been close to 20 years I don't remember much but the names I do remember are...Rudy Bentz, Jill Bentz, Guy Banano, Pam Abel, Martin Weins, Russ Decker, Karl Kent, Rob Nelson, Laura Diekel, Tim Brase, Sal something...I believe he was involved with the recruiting. That's the best I can do right now. But from what I hear all these people are still involved with kids still and need to be stopped from destroying anymore lives. If they can't be jailed because our laws protect them from prosecution then hopefully they can be stopped from anything having to do with education or mental health care. Cedu is the closest thing to HELL we have on earth. No kid should ever have to go through that.

Speaking of drinking at prom parties.
When I was there, the staff decided to have a party for themselves including heavy drinking. They held it at the Denali lodge, lots of loud music too. A very awkward evening from what I recall as basically all of the staff were nearby getting drunk, but all the students were standing on the smoking porch sort of watching and wondering what to make of it all.

After, a day or two later, students were complaining in raps and the staff just responded with "Grow up!" What a nice mixed message. Do as we say, not as we do.
Kind of ironic. All the messed up teens were left to take care of the school while the adult staff partied to loud music and got drunk.

Wow. I think that may have happened when I was there. Isn't obvious now, that the staff, many of them, had real substance abuse issues, and abused their power. There were staff with serious sadistic tendencies and pedophililia histories and they used it and the kids to make money and get off on power and bizarre spritual trips.

Considering "most" of us are in our 40's now, or at least late 30's, I think we've been through the corporate mill enough to know the routine. Many of us have had to deal with ass-kissers like you who love to shout the party slogan from atop their desk. And I have lost many jobs for not compromising on my beliefs. But I am sure you have never had a problem compromising on anything. Sounds like you sold your sac to get ahead and are now crying, wishing you hadn't. Maybe some surgery could fix that for you. I was born with three testicles, I'll donate one if you'd shut the fuck up.
And go back to school and learn to use capital letters. Might help convey a sense of intelligence that your post lacked. But mainly your post reveals you got the same shoddy crap that passed for education in one of these programs. So go get some surgery, get some balls and go back and demand a real education.

Red Ashcraft from Mount Bachelor Academy prided himself on being the "forever young" guru. Forever young was a lifestep LGAT brainwashing session. First he demanded that we fucking confessed. We must write down everything that we had done wrong, with the implicit assumption that if we confessed it now, it wouldn't be a problem for us later on. However, some people who confessed things that were bad enough got literally sent to wilderness on the spot. Then came the feedback horseshoe. This was Red's favorite part, because it involved going in a circle and only giving negative "feedback", basically just judging and giving your opinion on what the person in the spotlight's problems in fact are. He would literally sit there for hours and just break down kids until they cried. And he fucking loved it. This man is a child abuser, and I'm sure that now that he's done with MBA, he'll have to find another fucked up school to work at, because this guy just loves abusing children so much that he will never stop until he's fucking dead.

we know the type well. it wouldn't surpirse me at all if he learned some of his tactics directly from a cedu school or brett and lisa carey. also as i take in these posts, I'm reminded that staff from different periods were in different levels of the program and therefore in different phases of self development on how they viewed their "work" at these skools. I'm always reminded of the meak quiet new staff and how different they were a few years later...CEDU staff didn't usually calm down over time, they got meaner louder more personal, and less contentious about saying and doing things that are simply over the line. Another great example of how CEDU taught "the ends justify the means".
staff and students always said the most "OFF BASE", "OUT OF TOUCH" stuff to kids when I was there, the emotional stakes were high, and some people not only lost their sacs, but their minds also.

Does anyone know who did the abducting for CEDU (running springs) in the 90s? The victim I am concerned about was not abducted by a professional "escort" service. As I understand it, her abductors were comprised of one (or two?) males and one female.
Possibly Bill Lane, or people who worked for/with him? Ex-Synanonite and long-time CEDU employee Bill Lane started working for Mel Wasserman back in 1974. He started doing CEDU's transport back in 1993, give or take a year, and did so until they closed. He still does transport under his own name now. Steve Rookie worked in the kitchen when I was there. He was the cook. Russ was a ping pong playing 16 yr old kid without a lot of personality. Bill Lane (it seems?) ran the Hilltop "store." Weird stuff.

It looks like the truth is finally setting some of the ol' CEDU pigfuckers 'free'! Great work! Nice photo. Takes me back. So ironic how the truth just won't die. Kudos for the activism on 'Lia's part. It's been a long time coming for the solidarity we have now, What went on in the CEDU schools was outrageous and harmful. That former students who have the most legitimate causes for grievances have no place to air those most awful allegations of rape, that I DO personally know of, is worse yet. The people who still have money from what went on all those years should be sued into poverty. They know the emotional turmoil they caused, they LIKE it, and wish to practice power more. The ends justify the means- so to them, we're still just in need of more strongarming, coercing, intimidation, name calling, and humiliation. They can't run their little pedophile S&M ring in the open like the 1980's evidently allowed for, so at least we can be thankful for that. Also, notice how the internet and testimonials from various years, by various former students of a plethora of behavior modification institutions and CEDU schools quickly crushed the skeptics. I guess we're not all just a bunch of whining junkies. The direct contact that was had with potential parents SHUT UP the wannabe masters of soul snatching psychic leeches and the entire system of money grubbing snakes that want to "help you with your troubled teen". We know vigilance is necessary because individual institutions and individuals change their names, but not their often abusive tactics. Tools for Job(s).
To turn ones mind against itself is a terrible legacy to have left. These are the scars, these are the warriors.
