Commodores again...: "Greatest Hits"
« Last Edit: December 31, 1969, 07:00:00 PM by Guest »
If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

103.1 WRNR (some song by Dave Matthews & one by Robert Randolph)

Elvis Costello - (the Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes

Hush - a pre-release mix of like 8-9 awesome songs heard at a friend's house...the guitar/bassist brought it over there.
Very tight & minimal grooves/songs. The bass & drums at times reminding me of Can (the krautrock band.) Beautiful female vocals.

Quite possible.  He was living out of a schoolbus or in a communal situation around Santa Cruz in the late 80s--early 90s, his clan would sell glass bongs and pipes at flea markets and concerts and so forth when Creed wasn't touring.  Damon Edge died years ago, in France, I think.  He tried to reform Chrome without Helios Creed, and it turned into a third rate version of the Cure.  Helios put out some records on his own, then as Chrome, without Edge.  Read Only Memory is pretty early stuff, maybe their second, I'm not sure of the track listing, it's a burned CD without insert, there's one I really like called 'Electric Chair', I think.

Yeah, I heard that the Damon Edge version of Chrome wasn't very good. As far as Helios, I recall hearing some of his solo stuff coming out back then. There was this song called Monster Lust that got played on the radio around here...I liked that one.
