Ok, folks. Let me try and explain what this forum is and, hopefully, clear things up a bit.
If you want to have a forum where your views are held sacrosanct, then you should go ahead and set one up on Yahoo or wherever where you can control who has access to post. There's absolutely nothing wrong w/ that. In fact, the more different sites out there w/ differnt policies and objectives the better! There's plenty of room in Cyberia for all comers.
This forum will always be an open, unmoderated one. It's purpose is to provide a space where anyone can pose, debate and defend their views w/o any effort to limit or control the discussion. Here, you can use persuesion, logic, emotional arguments.... whatever. The one thing you can't do here is
prevent others from doing the same.
Our youth can not understand why society chooses to criminalize a behavior with so little visible ill effect or adverse social impact... These young people have jumped the fence and found no cliff.
