(Im not Animals)
Yes indeed I would have acecpted 2nd phase just for the opportunity to escape.I dont know where I would have gone to though.
Being in my own home with oldcommers,about one week,was a real strange situation.Then being escorted from the middle of a group rap to the front door was a real mindblow!
My mother took me home in the car and just complained to me about "all that money"gone to waste.Divorced,my father was against the program.I probably would have gone to his house if I had managed to escape,and I probably could have gotten him to side with me on the issue.
I never desired to make 2nd phase.I never believed I would ever make 2nd phase.It was a kind of survival day by day.I believe I acted with respect when I was in the oldcommer's house,but the oldcommer parents did not like me because I was not participating properly with the program and probably feard that I would compromise their own kids progress by giving them strange ideas about free thinking.
I was moved from one house to the next,then I developed a nasty wound on my foot that would not heal and of course I was never given any medical attention.What oldcommer parent wants that kind of liability in their home?

totally understand, anon, when i walked, my parents were due to open a host home....after about three days of being back home, they were no longer concerned w/ $$....they were relieved, because they realized what a liability that would be

funny memory.....when i arrived at my front door that wonderful day i walked out, they left the door open for me to walk on in.....i have never experienced that sort of relief since...

(Still NOT "Animals")
I was 15 when I got out and I actually believed for about one week that I would be going back when I learned to behave properly!Another part of me knew that one day,when I got the chance,that I would use an electric drill to administer corkscrews to Miss Pete's body!
Well today I am certain that I have not learned how to behave properly in group!

Who'd'a thunk it! You open up a forum for Program vets and a bunch of damaged people show up. Will wonders never cease!

If they can get you to ask the wrong questions they don't have to worry about the answers

Madness...  ::hehehmm::

Innocence implies the ability to restrain from the initiation of aggression, and to question those who don't.
