AMF is correct again!
The pattern of all reported November 2004 goes back years!!!!!!The evilness, cruelty, neglect, abusiveness is not new--the STORIES will be told and all will be exposed! Records are kept...and UNDER THE RUG, none of it has been swept!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I recall this one time, we were having dinner, after we had all prepared it, and Sheryl put ranch dressing on all the tables. Some of us merely asked if we could go and get some different dressings from the fridge, as we knew there were lots of other dressing in there. She said yeah, and didn't say much about it, because we could always use whatever dressing we wanted. Then she started going off on us. Saying that we were ungrateful and spoiled, and took things for granted. She said she purposely put only ranch out to see who would ask for different dressing. She had made presumptions prior to this about who she thought would ask for more. She made this huge deal about nothing. She seemed to do that a lot.

It was sooooo stressful living there. You had to anticipate everything that was going to be done during the day. If she wanted dinner to be started, or some cleaning to be done, you were just supposed to know about it. If you didn't participate, because lets say, you were up in your room studying or something, you would get yelled at hardcore.

Former zoo members accepting plane tickets from Gorilla, as she cries and begs for their to return to zoo.  Why returning to sanctuary? Only they can answer...but they're no help for Gorilla's pitiful cause...less help than LAWYER JACK who must be giving serious pause.
Lawyers hate to lose...and he must when he represents abusers from a zoo!

When I read this, all I could hear in my head was Robert DeNiro's voice.

Step 1. We came to understand that the government is powerless over people's private use of drugs and that the War on Drugs was making the government's life unmanageable.

Cayo,
When I read this, "I am like God, and God like me..." all I could think was IF Cheryl Sudweeks went around saying such a thing---then this  woman is more delusional than I ever thought!

It's one thing to rant, rave and pretend to be a therapist--but to self-elevate oneself to the level of GOD, COME ON!!!!

I know. DeNiro's character in Cape Fear quotes that scripture (I think it's scripture) in the movie.  He's a crazy bastard.  In the end he drowns while handcuffed to a sinking houseboat and babbling in "tongues".

I have always thought that all men should be free; but if any should be slaves, it should be first those who desire it for themselves, and secondly those who desire it for others.  Whenever I hear anyone arguing for slavery, I feel a strong impulse to see it tried on him personally.

Thats not scripture.
Not out of the Bible anyway.
It is however, a fairly accurate expression of the Mormon belife that they are gods, able to become (if they work very hard) a god over their own world which they will populate with the spirt children they will make with their goddess wives.[ This Message was edited by: BuzzKill on 2005-05-24 06:52 ]

This is a MORMON BELIEF that people and God are equal?

Very interesting.  The more I hear about the Mormom faith, the more it scares me.

I wasn't trying to knock religion here, DeNiro just creeped me out in that movie and the quote reminded me of it.

Well: If Cheryl Sudweeks was spouting this bullshit to a bunch of kids at Whitmore Academy---these kids most certainly were not her "spirt children!"  They were, and are STUDENTS--whose PARENTS paid hard-earned money for these kids to receive an education, and therapy while under the care of the Sudweeks, PERIOD!

Now that the Sudweeks have had their license revoked by the State of Utah...and NOW that Mark Sudweeks has declared in the TRIBUNE that they are "no longer in the teen help business," all the Sudweeks should be offering at Whitmore is academics and NO THERAPY WHAT-SO-EVER.

So, the Sudweeks need to be concentrating on running an academic school...and not sneaking around doing THERAPY or ANY TYPE, and most certainly should not be recruiting special needs kids who definitely need therapy.
