Keep seeing the phrase: "Alana said Joey was a complainer." First of all, it does not appear that Alana, was there when this abuse of Joey was going on. So, this is "hearsay," on Alana's part, so whatever SHE says does not matter in the least!

Secondly, there was an independent investigation, that has documented and substantiated several counts of abuse and neglect--so it stands to REASON that SOMETHING happened to Joey.

There is a difference between "complaining" and "asking for help." Seems like Joey was ASKING for help in a BIG WAY.  The question should be---why did it take Joey so long to GET HELP in a small town when the police station was right across the street?

Thank goodness the Nephi Police did the RIGHT THING. They believed Joey, and held him in protective custody. Look at IVY RIDGE--those abused kids staged a riot to escape their ABUSERs...and the POLICE returned them to the school after charging the boys as criminals!

Joey---a complainer? No.
Alana has no voice in what happened to Joey. She only knows what she has been TOLD.
Joey will get to tell what happened to him; and only eye-witnesses will get to talk.
NOT people like Alana, who only parrot lies about a little boy--who was begging for help...NOT COMPLAINING, Lady!

If reading these postings correct--Tori was a family friend of Joey's prior to this abused boy's enrollment at Whitmore. Tori, now an employee at Whitmore, AT BEST, sat back all the time this "family friend, Joey" was being abused, and never saw fit to call this young boy's parents, to intervene on this boy's behalf, or support this kid in any way. Is this how it all happened?
If so--as an employee of Whitmore, this gal has a lot of responsibility in this boy's abuse herself. She better be realizing that. Employees who observe, and have an awareness of abuse and fail to report it face legal problems themselves.

need to interview the Employee, TORI, Miss Victoria DeGarmo.......she knows "fer sure"..was there.........admitted baby kangaroo was at fault."BIT THE HAND THAT FEEDS HIM", between the lines....quote actually means "GOT WHAT HE DESERVED".......

some interviews consistant..........how about the ones located at a distance........prior ZOO members, like several years ago.....tears and fears settled awhile.return of smiles.........bet they tell of the ASYLUM WILES...........

Miss VicTORIa loves talking to the press, so  will give interview... like it or not to authorities. Just may have to be under oath. Gorilla's gathering supporters, flying in ex-warriors. Troublbe IS those accepting INVITE are not her problem. Look around TWEAKER. Those NOT in attendance are the problem... and are friends of the TRUTH. Crying to the wrong crowd, Gorilla. They can't help.

Now what little boy DESERVED to be hit, slammed, beat, tied, humiliated, hurt, cursed, stomped VicTORIa? explain that Miss Peer Counselor, like-for-ever, what-ever, DUH.

Joey DESERVED exactly what was in the contract his parents signed with the Sudweeks!
An education at a FULLY accredited school with certified teachers.
Therapy-individual and group with a licensed professional.
Three well-balanced, nutritional, safe, clean meals a day.
A safe, clean, healthy place in which to live, and sleep.. and sleep to be an adequate amount per night--no sleep deprivation.
For all students to be drug-free, with no criminial history, or history of violence.
For Joey to not be exposed to any physical punishment by ANYONE.
For Joey to have open, free, UNMONITORED communication with his parents.
For Joey to never be physically restrained in any manner.

These are a FEW things Joey DESERVED!
Forget the Sudweeks LIES about loving and caring about children.

Yep rather simple--Joey DESERVED basic care, basic food, basic housing, basic therapy, basic education---and NO ABUSE.

Seems like the Sudweeks could have provided THAT on about $4,000 a month without ABUSING THE HELL OF OF THIS BOY.
And SEEMS like their "family friend, TORI" could have at least said: "PLEASE DON'T HURT HIM."

Here it is six months later and still no charges?  It appears now that this may have been a made up fairy tale?  No one has seen any evidence to date?  So what is one to think, it didn't happen or it did and Utah covered it up?

Just some unanswered questions?

Mark Wardle just got another license after a kid died in his last program. Wouldn't be the first time Utah turned a blind eye to child abuse.

As I said before, I take it w/ a grain of salt whenever I hear of Utah promising to crack down on the troubled parent industry. But, otoh, they did rule in favor of free speech wrt WWASP. So I'm holding out a little hope.

By 1940 the literacy figure for all states stood at 96 percent for whites. Eighty percent for blacks. Notice for all the disadvantages blacks labored under, four of five were still literate. Six decades later, at the end of the 20th century, the National Adult Literacy Survey and the National Assessment of Educational Progress say 40 percent of blacks and 17 percent of whites can't read at all. Put another way, black illiteracy doubled, white illiteracy quadrupled, despite the fact that we spend three or four times as much real money on schooling as we did 60 years ago.

Absolutely not a fairy tale.
ONLY people who tell TALES are the Sudweeks.
Investigations of victimS, and multiple charges (note VICTIMS,not victim) takes time, and 6 months is not that long. And the State of Utah is doing its job!

Anon who's concerned about "no evidence," go read the "Tweek and Peek don't like theraputic label" thread: the DCFS agency substantiated 8 counts of abuse and neglect by the Sudweeks...think perhaps that might be a bit of evidence. And REMEMBER the Sudweeks' license for a therapy treatment center was revoked by the State of Utah. Get real---this is not a fairy tale. This is serious business, and the County Attorney will not be sharing their file with the public. They have a criminial case to put together.
