Where I work we have between 450 and 500 kids all between 12-19 years old, usually in groups of 10-20 with 1 staff member to watch them, but response and support teams always checking up on them. Haven't had any problems with kids threatening staff, but were all pretty highly trained. Requirements for staff run the gamut from EMT license, First-Responder certs to Verbal and Physical takedown courses. I'm a certified instructor for the main type of physical takedown and restraining course we use.

The place I work in SU is called Cross Creek, but there are a ton of programs down here. I've never seen this many programs anywhere else. I need to get out of this state tho.
Hrrm, first of all, you do realize the ISAC was started and is funded by a competing youth facility, right? Here's my story. CCP is the second youth program where i've been employed. Part of the reason i left the first one was there was no help for the kids. It was essentially a motel. CCP is different, i've worked here for over 2 years and have never seen anything that was questionable in the least amount. The kids actually see counselors, attend AA/NA meetings, go to school, and seem to genuinely change by the time they leave the program. It is a business like any other, and I'm sure that things do happen, but in my case, I've never seen anything and I've worked in just about every part of the program. As for it being an illegal program? I'd like to see some proof of that being as were on a main road, very well advertised, on good relations with the local police, in your own post mentioned that the company contributes politically. It wouldn't be hard to find and shut them down if it were true.
