Teen People story
« on: October 16, 2002, 11:44:00 AM »
I'm doing a story for Teen People about various rehab and treatment experiences teens have had. Obviously people have very strong opinions on the Straights. So if you're a teen who wants to chat with me about your experience (know that the magazine requires your name, probably photo, and parental consent to be quoted), email me directly at lsmithnet@hotmail.com. Thanks  -Larry Smith

LOL.. most of us were teens when we were there, the last facility remained open in 1993 and staff would only take people 12 and over. At least from what I know.

Anybody who has been in a Straight legacy program in the last couple of years,  I encourage you to contact Mr. Smith for his article.

Maybe he will take people who were teens when they were there?... It couldn't hurt to ask. Even if he doesn't, he will realize there are many more of us out there than people think.
