I just want to state for the record that this goes against everything I believe, er don't believe in, but it was so cute I couldn't resist.

Patient memoirs are a kind of protest literature like slave narratives or witness testimonies.

Even scarier to think someone out there as our "true love" mightbe Norman Bates. I wonder is this true love thing reciprocal or one sided?

that was one of the scariest scenes, when dorothy is locked up in the witch's castle. i think the first time i saw it i didn't understand the hourglass.

also the monkeys turned out to be good guys after the witch died. that was something to process as a kid, i think the explanation i got was that they were all afraid of the witch.
