Hello everyone,

I found this forum last year at a time when I was distrought and when I was looking for information regarding facilities for teens. I recently made my way back to this forum while doing a Google search, again looking for information regarding facilities.

I was very disappointed with what I found this time. I just don't remember the hostility when I visited before.

Maybe I have misunderstood the reason this forum even exists. I thought it was to help kids, their parents, their rescuers, and anyone else looking for help.

Maybe I was wrong. Maybe it's a place for people to vent and bash others, with no regard to the fact that if someone here is sued for libel and/or slander the forum could shut down. Then where are people going to go to talk about their problems and to share information?

Think about this. What if ISAC is forced to shut down. What if this forum is forced to shut down. What if others follow close behind? Who will be left to fight for these kids?

Are we going to fall into a war of our own? I think there is enough going on to keep us all busy. Could you just imagine what would happen if all this negative energy were put into something positive? It's worth thinking about, no?

A-Men and A-Men! (and I guess you know I don't invoke religious usage lightly!)

This place really is about venting and bashing sometimes. I just provide freedom for anyone to say what they will, hang themselves or not. I don't determine what people should try to do here or how they go about it. If I did, we never would have had the priviledge of getting to know some of the most brilliant trolls ever to grace a funky little niche in Cyberia. Good thing I'm not in charge, eh?

Please do think about what would happen if ISAC, Fornits, Titsch's site, Mountain Park and Anonymity Anonymous
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps.

Something to understand is that just because there are issues, emotions and personality clashes going on does not mean it's a bad thing. People get emotional when it comes to such important issues such as life, freedom, and injustice. No one should take it personally. It that were the case then a lot of people would be sad and depressed. That's the beauty of America. Freedom of expression.
Yes it does get heated. But that's to be expected. Were talking about the lives of humans. It's a sensitive subject. Don't be afraid of what is said.

I'm not afraid. I worry for the innocent kids looking for help who wind up here. Is this what we want to teach them? It just seems that things have gotten completely out of control, that's all, and I was hoping that people would think just a little more before they post, remembering the people who find their way here when they are surfing the web for help. That's about it.

I worry more about the kids under the control of these people.  Did you read any of the Whitmore threads???   Did you see the way those kids were going at each other??  It looks like the Suds condoned this...

Well- perhaps you need to email Sue Scheff, or the other people like her who seem to run around suing everyone who disagrees with them.

And just who might be "the rescuer" of all these kids you speak of?  HUH? Kids should never be sent to these programs to begin with, and never referred there by certain people---then we wouldn't need little rescue people, would we?

I doubt if ISAC or this site will be closed down. Go have a little "tea party" with your friends, if you have any left.
