When a person says they have a DEGREE, and then admits they DONT, I suppose this is not a lie. I suppose this is just a mistake, and someone just thinks they have a degree, for some reason or another.

Yes, I suppose children being enrolled in WWASP programs could be disturbing to many people. Wonder how disturbed Sue Scheff was by accepting referral fees, or whatever she called the monetary rewards for helping to send kids to those WWASP programm as some postings on this site say she did---that is if she did????

Ok, here's the link to the transcript:

http://www.isaccorp.org/wwasps/wwaspsvpure.pdf

It's LONG, over 700 pages in pdf graphic format. But it answers a lot of questions people have been asking around here and sort of begins to explain some of the current barroom brawl. (if you read between the lines just a little)

While you're there, take a look around the site and consider whether or not you want to throw some significant support to these people. I can't do that. We do alright for ourselves and our kids, but we're not among the well heeled by any stretch. But I think I might if I could.

No, she did. But she didn't pull her kid because of problems w/ WWASP. It's not clear why she did, so I can't comment on that.

According to the (former?) WWASP employee who testified very briefly, he wasn't at all sure that Sue's deal w/ splitting referals was against the previous week's or day's policy or not. He just thought it wasn't right, regardless of what the other employee thought. No need to exagerate or go borrowing trouble here. In fact it waters down the facts of the matter if we do.

As regards WWASP and her stance toward them, her story washes. She probably honestly believes that the programs she now refers kids to are better, safer and all that. I just don't happen to agree with that assessment.

I don't completely understand the aparent 180 as regards WWASP vs. survivors. But then, I never did think these folks were especially well balanced or well grounded individuals. I suppose time will tell.

In other words, Ginger wants you to give ISAC money.  I wonder why it's come to Ginger groveling for donations for ISAC.  Did Shelby touch your heart with stories of her children starving, and the fact that their income is pitiful?  Did she tell you she is doing God's work, but in order to keep doing it she needs people to "click" that PAYPAL button, or perhaps her legal warchest is empty?  Ginger, and everyone out there, I wouldn't contribute a wooden nickel to that Spit and Bubble Gum operation.  Just a couple of months ago ISAC was trash talking Ginger saying that her site abused children and that was because Ginger refused to admit her status as a victim. Ginger, you're just the Flavor of the Month for Shelby.  It's too bad she's poor, but that's not our problem.  Shame on you for asking!

Don't know about you Ginger?  I think you may have struck a nerve here?

I don't have much to say for the comments about Isac's, but I do like the fact that you have another faithful follower...just my POV.

Anon,

You really should read the transcripts. You could save yourself the multiple ?????????s

You could read where Ken Kay admits under oath to his having known about the sexual relationship between satff and student at TB.How he admits that he did nothing to reprimand the staff .

Isac could use the money. You would have weeks worth of entertaining reading.

Absolutely no way are these programs are any better than WWASP! Read the transcript. She refers to programs where kids have DIED, where kids are physically and sexually abused, and she knows it! There is no excuse, no reasoning, no justification. If that is what she wants to do for a living, that is fine, but these places are no safer.

Sue needs to go back and read this transcript of WWASP VS PURE herself---she sounds just like every other mother who's had a child abused in one of these programs: says the same exact words we say--how we were deceived by someone JUST LIKE HER, how our kids suffered, how SHE trusted someone who sold her on a program because they seemed to care---all the negative things she had to say about her own daughter. She was a desperate parent then, probably doing the best she could. HOW QUICKLY SHE FORGETS THAT PAIN, and dares to judge other parents, and then sends desperate parents down the same miserable path she thread. How very sad she can forget all that. And fool herself that "she's actually helping by referring any parent to any program."

Groveling? I don't think I'm goveling. It doesn't feel like groveling to me.

Honestly, I haven't looked at the http://www.isaccorp.org site since around the time that (as you note) they started trashing me hard. I suppose I should hate them, shouldn't I? But, sorry for you, it didn't work. I just looked around the site and realized that they're doing some really valuable work. If they lose funding to continue that, I'm sure they'll drop the activism and go back to just being a mom and pop to those kids (who are not starving, btw, as far as anybody's told me). But that would be a shame. I hope they'll be able to continue doin' what they do.

I never said, and will likely never say "cut a check to ____ cause I say they're worthy and needy!!!" What I said is look around and consider it. Maybe I think and speak more literally than people usually read.

But if there's any question about that, I meant just what I said. Take a look and think for yourself. I really didn't mean anything other than that. Maybe you'll come to some other conclusion. I wouldn't judge or hate you for it.

Speaking of asking for funding, do you have any idea how the Emancipation Project is going about raising funds these days? Just curious.

So now YOU KNOW all about Shelby's personal business? When did YOU review her last income statement? YOU probably know as little about her personal business and life as you do other things you speak about. Who do YOU donate your money to?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Who's following me? Is someone paying them to do it? Are they getting paid well? Should I invite them in for coffee? You seem to suggest that there's more than one of them. Should I introduce them to each other so maybe they can double up on accomodations or something?

What are you talking about?

Our Bible reveals to us the character of our god with minute and remorseless exactness... It is perhaps the most damnatory biography that exists in print anywhere. It makes Nero an angel of light and leading by contrast.

Anon,

You hit that observation right on.You have no idea how bad those of us who believed in her feel at the obvious hypocrisy.

We trusted .We believed. We were fooled. AGAIN.
