Ex Staff St. Pete sends message to Survivor
« on: March 08, 2005, 08:28:00 AM »
An in odd twist of fate a former ex staff of St. Pete was talking with someone who was a good friend of a survivor. When the issue of Straight was brought up here is what staff had to say.

"They are all just baby's , it was tough love. They are just mad cause it was tough love. They are all just winers and babys."

When the friend asked "What about the fact that most were not drug addicts at all?"
Response: "Thats their parents fault for putting them in there."
Question: "What about forcing them to sign in?"
Response: "Their parents should have known better."
This staff was counselor , when the survivor asked the friend what were the qualifications the response was they are a professional party planner.
Survivor: "Uh, huh - thats what I thought. Perhaps you could ask them why they felt they were qualified."
The survivor has sent a message to this staff via the friend and offered to sit and talk about what happened and provide documents.

Just thought all you big baby's would want to know.
Don't forget to tell your parents that staff says its your parents fault. This staff is "good friends with Melsie".

Hopefully, survivor and staff will get the chance to sit and talk. I am sure that the staff being assured of their convictions will not mind sitting and helping to straighten (pardon the pun)that survivor out. The survivor looks forward to sitting with the staff so the survivor can learn how not to be a "big baby".

Stay tuned as the talks continue.

On the contrary, the Straight staff were quite qualified to treat chemical dependency. They possessed the gift of awareness, which is the equivalent to a four-year degree in psychology and is paramount when it comes to having empathy for fellow druggies. Straight Incorporated didn't put a gun to those parents' heads and force them to sign their kids in...they CHOSE straight for a reason, and ultimately, they are the ones who must answer for making that decision, not us! And most of you druggies needed tough love- without it you would have ended up DEAD, INSANE, or IN JAIL.

Love ya,

Not HALF as much of a party as the all-new Straight, Inc-By-The-Sea (SIBS) will be!

Hard to believe anybody still buys into the bullshit, isn't it? But I talked to Charles Pendergras just a couple of years ago and he sounded just like this. What a sick fuck he was then and is now.

I turned to speak to God, About the world's despair; But to make bad matters worse, I found God wasn't there.

Interesting, I was told about the same thing by a VA police detective. I wonder where or how that party line got started.

But you know, I worked at a vet a long time ago, and they would do inhumane* things "because the owner wanted it" and the vets felt it was their unquestionable role to do whatever the owner wanted, after all the owner was paying the bill.

*for example, unnecessary euthanasia, tail-docking, declawing, and forced termination of pregnancy with a drug that obviously made the animal suffer a lot.

I have a very detailed email from an ex VA staff member saying the same stuff basically. Was debating whether I should post it. I think I'll wait and use it as ammunition  :flame:
