Psychologist brags about straight
« Reply #1 on: February 14, 2005, 08:38:00 AM »
I was in Straight/Stoughton in 88.  I ran across this board recently and am trying like crazy to figure out my "experience" there.  I saw a psychologist there once, or at least they said he was a psychologist (I can't remember the name, just that it was a guy with a mustache and I got to leave the rap and go into a back office to talk with him).  What role did psychologists play in the program?  Was everyone evaluated in the beginning of the program by a shrink (this was somewhere between 2 to 3 weeks into the program), or was it unusual?  Thanks in advance for any help understanding this.
