They believe that God was a human once. They believe he followed mormon rules to become a God. They belive there are millions of Gods in the universe and they, The Mormons - are all destined to become Gods just like the God Yaweh. The women can't become Gods - only priestses. They cant become goddesses because in Mormonism women are deemed inferior. And, By the way, Joseph Smith, the founder, said he was greater than any man ever born and even greater than Jesus who, according to them is Lucifer's brother. Brigham Young, on the other hand, was a biggot too. He wrote church policy stating that blacks were the "seeds of Satan" and they came from the dark skinned Cain.
