I was just talking to a friend of mine about that album yesterday.  It's my favorite by Dylan, well that one and John Wesley Harding.  Really like the song "Idiot Wind".

some good stuff on the radio...I don't know what it was because the playlist for today isn't up yet...("Hateful" by The Clash I did recognize, though..)

with Andreas in his kitchen: Bob Dylan's "Masters of War" on 2 guitars (mine capoed at 1st fret for an easy Fm) and a few originals- "Alabama Coastline Blues," "Jupiter," "The Man From Brazil," and some others.

Jerry Garcia Band--Almost Acoustic  --(I didn't fall asleep this time, lol. Started where I left off. This is some great bluegrass/roots stuff by the JGB.)

more radio:

DiAngelo - "Chicken Grease"

Clifford Brown - "Joystring" (vintage jazz from 1955)

Aqualung - "If I Fall"

Sounds Eclectic (the radio show).. http://www.soundseclectic.com/

I listened to my Musicmatch Jukebox profile radio station and tuned into WMNF.org . I'm hip to BET jazz station too. I prefer the videos on television. :smokin:

Last night after the kids were asleep, I took my Mesa Boogie over to this guy's place to do some troubleshooting- a friend and ex-bandmate of Andreas'. We listened to Richard Thompson while he searched all over his apt. for a 3 amp fuse. Breck is more of a guitar repair guy, but he helped me figure out what was up with it and taught me a lot about guitar amplifiers in general. And now I know where to take my Mexican  Tele to have it tweaked.

Richard Thompson --Tracks EP

Some songs by Breck's old (no understatement) band called The Children recorded here in 1966! They sounded a lot like the 13th Floor Elevators....very cool stuff!

Richard Thompson - "Gethsemane"

Camper Van Beethoven--New Roman Times

Richard Thompson--Mock Tudor
