A few questions from a Seed grad
« on: January 18, 2005, 08:08:00 PM »
I just discovered this forum and have some questions that I have wondered about for all these years:

- Why did the Seed leave Cleveland?

-Does anyone remember the date and which Cleveland Newspaper had a front page article about the Seed leaving Cleveland?

-Is Art Barker still alive?

-Is there still a Seed program in existence anywhere?

Art Barker is alive from what I know and living somewhere in Ft Lauderdale.
The seed is no longer but there are programs that are very similiar to the seed...such as
Kids helping Kids in Ohio.
I don't know much about the Cleveland Seed but there are others on this forum that will be able to help you with those answers.

A few questions from a Seed grad

The Seed left Cleveland in 1979 - Sept., Oct., Nov.? The article came out then.

Art is suffering from some form of palsey, but is still alive in Florida.

The Seed ceased all operations in 2001, I think. There are many similar programs operating all over the world at this point.
