"I CAN RELATE TO THAT"... How many times did I say or hear those words?!?!
I was one of those guys while at The Seed who didn't raise their hand to relate enough. And since that's all we did.. caused me some grief.
At the time I was there, you didn't have to put a toilet seat on your head, but being stood up & attacked because you don't participate enough was pretty brutal!
It is coming back to me now how phony I had to be (at times) just to "fit in" & avoid being chastised.
Never went back to Davie after graduating in '76?? but stayed "straight" for about 10 years after graduation. Didn't drink at my wedding 5 yrs after & another 5 yrs passed before I figured out that I could have a drink & not turn into a junkie.
Fortunately, I am free to lurk on this board without getting stood up & don't have to post unless I have something to say :smile:
