still doing "24 hour work crew"? Is the wrestling
program as abusive as I remember from 1976? Is a
man named Henry Milton still working for them?
Do you know a faculty member named Sarah Carlin?
(She is also an alum and I was in her freshman
class).
From what I hear about WWASP Hyde must seem like
paradise but Hyde is still abusive. Maybe less so
but still abusive.
A little about me, I was sent to Hyde's summer
program in the summer of 1976. I ran away in
January 1977. I was number one on then Dean of
Students Henry Milton's hate list. I hitchhiked
away from Bath that January three times. I damn
near froze to death. For the rest of you, unlike
the rest of the programs we are concerned about,
Hyde did not exactly incarceate anyone. Instead,
Hyde told program parents that if their kid didn't
like Hyde to throw their kid out on the street.
One more question, does Hyde still do this?
It's been 28 years and alot can change. Current
