pam was there alot before i left, she was chill with me, i never even did work in her raps though, i dont remember doing much work at all, i kinda just sat there and pretended i was listening, and if i got confronted, instantly admitted fault and made up a BS story that would make a cedu staff have an orgasm.

I remember Judy. They are still independent at Running Springs, but at RMA they are employees. Not a good idea!

got pulled december 21st 2004 after being there 18 months. Pam abell is still doing CPI training and running raps on occaision when other facilitators are preoccupied. I had a very negative experience at Cedu but managed. If anyone would like to exchange stories (not life stories...) then my screenname is Chromeridez9. peace..

What happened to staff Laurie Saunders and Jim Johnson?

Wanda? Bruce? Penelope?

Alex's wife (he ran theater) who worked there after he came aboard and was treated like crap for being a nice person?

Pam Abell and her hubs Mark?

Did any of these people realize what a cult this place was?

I have Jim Johnson's email address if you want it.  I also believe he went Gay

Did JJ ever get a clue about CEDU and its harmful effects--which he is partly responsible for perpetuating?

Ha - thats funny. I remember him having sort of a lisp...
Tim brace too for that matter.

Martin Weins was definitely gay.

Staff who was cool - Carla M, Gudrun Stewart, Bruce B, Donna D, Jon and Kathy Prinz, (Jon Prinz's ceramics class was the best) Larry,  Ron - mainly worked in the front offices,

Hated - Carl Janowitz, Rudy, Steve Laird, Steve Gervais? - His big line was "It's NOT ok!" Guy was a prick I thought,

God - what were those people thinking? How did they not think they were really fucking with kids lives?

Didn't Bill Valentine and Penelope get married?

Anyways.

I remember during my long painfull stay at Cedy that there were SEVERAL staff that cam and went.

I read in depth through Sabro's post - are there any others that left because they knew what was going on was just plain wrong?

The place didn't pay that well. I can't imagine people were so desperate that they would stick it out cuz they were desperate for employment.

I think some came and went quickly because they thought they coudl help kids, but.... something didn't sit right.  (A bg fat elephant, maybe?)   But I also think many staff came because of their own desperate interior lives.  They were empty, and needed  a niche (cult) to feel a part of... I mean, those newbies were often brutalized by older staff, and seemed to embrace the opportunity to purge their past, by crying, wailing, and telling their stories.   It was almost like they were students, but also camp counselors. They worked out their crap on us, and felt needed and a sense of belonging.   Long term staff just got off on the power trip.  They were seriously f&*%^ individuals. Guy, Rudy, Pam, Jill, Dean etc.

We also had a lot of people come and go under what seemed to be the same circumstances in Idaho. People AND their wives or girlfriends or boyfriends would start working there and pretty soon they were either there together for the long haul or you just knew they were going to do a runner. I would love to hear from some of those short timer staff, too.
