Personally, when I think of Clinton, I think I'm reeeeeal glad the guy is history.  As for his numerous affairs and lying under oath about 'em, sorry, it is NOT okay with me that the President of the United States of America has no respect for the law.  Imagine if he had just told the truth about "it" instead of engaging in a game of semantics, wasting everybody's time and money. No, Clinton was/is no saint and I just hope and pray if Kerry is unfortunately elected, he does not let the fox back into the hen house.

Deborah:
I don't get why some people and particularly the government is so obsessed with Clinton's sexual activity.

His affairs are only relevant to him and Hilary. It was a waste of tax dollars to even investigate this issue. Perhaps that is what motivated him to 'lie' or play with semantics. Unfortunately telling the truth, "It's none of your damn business" is not an option in our uptight moral society, which in fact are a bunch of voyers who love to peek inside other's bedrooms every chance they get. He didn't waste time and money, the government did.

And who's to say who lied. These women don't look or sound all that credible to me. And they certainly aren't children. Every one of them strike me as very willing participants who later saw an opportunity to profit. If anything, I questioned his taste in women after watching their interviews. Not one of them was hog tied and raped. Don't know about the others, but Monica practically seduced him- wouldn't be surprised if the others did the same. Women love the game of capturing the attention of handsome, 'powerful', men. They are frequently disappointed when the affair ends or their little fantasies don't come to fruition. Ain't buying the 'victim' trip- any woman who is not held at gun point can say NO THANKS and walk away. And, if they felt so 'violated' why not report it when it ocurred, rather than years later and after they had been a participant in a sexual relationship between two consenting adults? Better yet, why didn't they wear a wire and catch him in the act of seducing or pressuring them if that is indeed what happened? Cause, I just don't believe it happened that way- with any of them. Bill seems to be the 'victim' in this situation- who paid dearly for his 'affairs' with these high-dollar prostitutes.

No respect for the LAW? What law? Religion says infidelity is wrong, a 'sin'. That should not make having affairs a CRIME for anyone- remember Seperation of Church and State? About as ignorant and antiquated as sodomy laws. And no one should have to defend themselves in court, unless they land in divorce court with their partner for breaking a marriage vow.

And yeh, I'm impressed with his ability to wiggle around the questions of the moralistic voyers that were raping him in court. I resent that any of my tax dollars were spent on this charade. And I resent the lusting American public, 'foaming at the mouth', waiting for the next juicy detail to 'come' forward. And fantasizing how he might be persecuted for his 'sins'. There are so many other issues that deserved to be investigated- this wasn't one.

Go on, excuse the Prez for lying, based on YOUR personal belief that he was "entitled" and if that dog don't hunt, let's kill the messenger(s) (Gennifer, Paula and Monica), tramps that they surely are.

Me, I think it matters not what these "gals" looked like or how good/bad their own morals are.

Fact is, the PREZ could have just said no, knowing that there was a real good chance that his liason with any one of these predators (LOL) could come back to bite him in the ass.

Face it, the man used poor judgment in the bedroom and in the oval office to such a degree, that he is now a wealthy man as a result of writing tell-all books.  Only in America, right Deborah??!!
