At DeSisto full name Joseph Charles Katz, went by "Chuck Katz"
Chuck then dropped the name Katz which was from a step father or adoptive father.  And took his real father's name "Kanner"

Not as intriguing as the "alias" might suggest.

The madman!!  Chuck Kanner headed down to Sarasota Florida and opened Kanner Academy (for 10 – 20 year olds).  He was always a really big fan of Gestalt Therapy which he was used as a platform, at Kanner, and built his model around it.  I haven’t heard much news coming out of Kanner Academy so I don’t know how effective his program is.

I think it has been around for a decade or so, got the school accredited in 2003 and is in good standing with the school system ever since, although it was a tough few years prior to that.
