what about the rest of us???

Forgive me for sounding self-centered. Its great that Miller has been held accountible in court by the 2 recent cases. But what about us? i was in kids for a very long time. what about the kids who killed themselves to escape miller's nightmare. what about there loved ones? i lost my whole childhood. and dont fu...ing tell me to get over it. Why didnt "phil" file a class action lawsuit? Damn it we all want redemption and we deserve it. I dont mean any insult, but there are alot of people that were hurt that will never be healed. i'm glad lulu and rebecca had there opportunity to make miller pay and i'm glad there doing well. But maybe some of us arnt doing so well, hell we dont even know where most of the ex kids people are. Was the abuse i endured or you the reader endured not bad enough. When i got out of kids i was a mess for a long time and wasnt able to get it together enough to hire an attorney. I barely knew how to talk to people let alone do any legal research. No need to attack me for my comments, i've been attacked enough, i'm just trying to vent and see if there's any chance for a beatiful victory.

Well, I'm not a lawyer, of course. But I've read lawyers' answers to this question a few times.

Basically, it's not easy to put together a successful civil suit. It's not supposed to be easy. It's supposed to be a means of last resort when all other remedies have been tried and have failed. I'm sure Phil would have filed a class action if he could.

But I think there's every good hope for a beautiful victory in the end. It just depends on what your ends are. Virgil didn't just get sued a couple of times. He's been pretty well thwarted at every attempt to set up shop since the State of New Jersey prohibited him from ever working with kids in any capacity.

And, of course, Virgil isn't the only sadistic megalomaniac out there. There are plenty of others. And they continue to get more and more attention from news media, entertainment and public discussion like this forum. Eventually, everyone will have some reasonable understanding of what the TOUGHLOVE hategroups are all about. And they can't stand that kind of scrutiny. They'll go the way of Hitler Jugend.

As far as getting over it, I'll be over it when these crazy bastards can no longer live larger than life on public funding for things like DARE, Parent Corps, ONDCP and the Drug Free America Foundation.

This year will go down in history! For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!
