Diamond Jim
« on: November 20, 2018, 12:49:46 PM »
Why were AARC Empress Ann McCaig and the Wiz meeting with former MLA Jim Dinning as part of the AARC cover-up strategy after the airing of the Fifth Estate "Powerless" episode in 2009?  How exactly was Dinning to "help"?

Dinning was the Alberta Government rep sent to New Jersey in '89, along with Rotary Club industrial psychologist RK Dougan, to assess Miller Newton's "Kids".  D & D both liked the behaviour modification program so much that the Alberta Government gave $600k to set up "Kids of the Canadian West", which became All About Receiving Cash.

No one from the Alberta Government has ever been held accountable for the money sent to Miller Newton's quack thought reform program, nor for the torture of the Albertans sent to Kids.  Odd that the Alberta Government sent Dinning, who was the Education Minister at the time, rather than a qualified expert on adolescent mental health.
"In short, Dinning achieved his corporate aims, so much
so that he acquired a nickname, “Diamond Dinning,” while
amassing a score of credits with Alberta’s elite, which he was
able to call upon later during the Conservative leadership race."
