China has 5 known entires on Fornits Wiki. Australia and Norway one each.
Just because there are a lot more entries on the US blog it doesn't mean that the programs in the United States are more deadly. It is just because of more public awareness cause by the good work of survivors. In a lot of countries there is a kind of Omertà (code of silence) covering the shameful aspect of not being able to protect children at need. In time the break-through in the United States will hit the other countries forcing them to accept that they have a responsibility to protect at-risk teenagers from abusive foster families and programs.
So thank you. Please investigate obituaries in the local newspapers. Did the death occur while the teenager was in rehab or another kind of residential program, please contact me.
