apology
« on: January 28, 2004, 10:19:00 AM »
Just wanted to offer my apology..apparantly some of my posts raised concerns with some people..which I appreciate..
but I ignorantly assumed that most of you had lived similar lives as I did after Straight. I assumed most of you had wrecked lives and were drug addicts like me, when in fact most of you are now successful with careers and families.

Im really glad for you and everything and wish the best for you...

I have gone and deleted most of my posts...theres a shitload of them and it will take some some time to get them all, and perhaps I will find a more fitting place to talk to people.

Stick around, there's room for everybody here.  I don't know who was offended by what but there are still some of us interested in your POV.

I agree, stick around.  Not everyone is as together as it may seem.  We've all been through our own shit, some just different shit than others.

On the Teen Help Industry forum it says..."Some days it's inspiring and heart-warming. Other day's it's pretty damned ugly."  Pretty much the same for the rest of the forums.  Try to avoid the trolls and you'll be fine.  We don't all have the exact same lives, but we have enough in common to be able to help each other.

You didn't offend me and I too value your opinions.  Stay for a while and see how things go.

Truth resides in every human heart, and one has to search for it there, and to be guided by truth as one sees it. But no one has a right to coerce others to act according to his own view of truth.

Okay mister, you rock as far as I'm concerned, and if you leave, I will too. You are genuine, true blue, one of a kind, awesome guy. I love your honesty, respect your mind, and care about you a shit ton. Please never apologize for being the wonderful guy that you are ever again.
Stay gold Ponyboy.

You can take this as a threat if you like.  ::heart::

You are not the only one who's a addict and had a pretty screwed up life.  I have been trying to stay sober for over 19 years.  I know now that I can't until I start dealing with this Straight hell that I went through.  I appreciate all the advice I have gotten from you and others in the short time that I have been on these posts   I am so greatful to know why I have some of the problems I do, and you all have helped me with those problems.

So PLEASE don't leave.
