There is no creditability in anonymous postings. It is the person and their identity that gives validity to a statement.

Anon, is not an identity and the person who posts as Anon is saying by posting in that manner that they are either not telling the truth or that they are afraid to say who they are as they already know they are less than creditable.

Stand up for yourselves. Let it be know who you are and what you stand for.  Who knows someone might actually listen to what you have to say.

Hi Carey:

I sign my postings, however, I will not disclose my e-mail address as required to register here.

As with many boards where the e-mail address is viewable, the nuts come out and I have enough garbage to sift through.

Something very important that I learned in the program was that when approaching certain situations the best thing that you can do is have a clear, open mind.  If some people were to post who they really were than you would not listen to what they had to say at all... of course you probably already have a prior judgement built up towards anon. dundee supporters anyways, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Approaching situations with an open mind is a good idea.  A good way to demonstrate that would be for you to open your mind to the possibility that even if you were a liar and doing coke when you went into the program, that not every kid that gets stuck in a program is a liar or a druggie---that some kids get stuck in programs because they don't fit a controlling parent's unrealistic expectations for teenage perfection.

Can you open up to that possibility?

Age is mind over matter. If you don't mind...it doesn't matter!
