Cupid?? Are you kidding??
« on: January 30, 2004, 08:39:00 PM »
I was talking to a post program Dad last night; and he told me something I'd not herd before about the second wwasp program seminar.
He said at one point, the men were supposed to dress up like cupid; or a woman. The point being to break down inhibitions. He told me his son confirmed this also takes place in the student's version of this seminar.

Hummm, I say.

Anyone else ever hear this? Can anyone else confirm it?

They make the women dress up at LifeSpring:

http://http://www.rickross.com/reference/lifespring/lifespring3.html

"... he singled out me and four other women to dance for the group. As Rick put it, we were "nice girls" who needed to loosen up and push beyond our comfortable images. At first I wasn't sure why he thought dancing would test our limits. But when I saw the black lingerie and spike heels, I understood he wanted bump-and-grind action. Erotica. Raunch. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to explain why I did it. But we five women applied makeup and teased our hair and, finally, strutted out on the floor. The crowd surrounded us, hooting and hollering as we started gyrating to the music."

Anyone know if they do this in the TASKS seminars?  They seem to be carbon copies of the LifeSpring LGATs.  (No big surprise there).

I've seen others that do similar things, supposedly to release inhibitions, although it does raise a question about the real motivation.  I know that my folks never believed what I tried telling them, because it was simply "unbelievable".  WHich is how they can get away with it.  Make the parent think the kid is going to say anything to get out, and you can do whatever you want to a kid, because who'd believe them?
