Look, he posted that about my kids after I started banning his IPs. It was a response, not a cause.

It took me awhile because I just don't try to control what people say here. That's not my goal or my responsibility. My objective is to keep the site up and running so that anyone who wants to can discuss these issues w/o being censored.

A LOT of ppl come along initially very, very hostile. If I tried to ban hostility, even extreme hostility, from these forums, I'd be excluding the people it's most intended to serve.

And I'm really not worried about it anyway. He tried all kinds of cheap shots, fumbling around for something that would get to me. I don't really believe he has any power to effect me or my kids.

Ardent advocates of prohibition were obsessed by a zeal that bordered on fanaticism. They supported politicians who voted to outlaw liquor, no matter how much of it they privately consumed, and spurned politicians who voted against prohibition, no matter how sober they were personally.
