Carey, is there some reason why you are questioning whether the guy "really" went to Dundee? "
That's pretty obvious. To recount, someone asked Carey why she hired Bozak to help her get her kids out of Dundee. She answered by saying that Sue told her that Bozak had been there, knew the way and would be able to help ensure that things went smoothly. That's why she handed over a huge chunk of money to Sue/Bozak (unclear exactly who actually cashed the check) If it turns out that even that was a lie, well that would be fraud.
That would be like me soliciting pay for, oh, I don't know... say professional advice about which schools or programs might be best for your kid when, really, I don't know the kid and have no real expertise about the schools.
To any Straight, Inc., vets who might be reading this, don't you see how this all works? Don't you remember how we were all pretty much convinced that the Program had bestowed upon us this special super-hero "awareness" that enabled us to spot a lie from accross a room full of flapping seaguls on acid? That's what the edcons seem to think. They believe that the seminars and their experience in parent group actually qualifies them to make these determinations for strangers. It's a powertrip w/ a paycheck. Very alluring to some people.
Thought that is silenced is always rebellious. Majorities, of course, are often mistaken. This is why the silencing of minorities is necessarily dangerous. Criticism and dissent are the indispensable antidote to major delusions.
