i remember reading about charles moody. i'm so glad my son is in my life ALIVE. chas moody-did't it read that he had taken more than the theraputic dose of anti-deps? (meds were "self administered") i read the autopsy but it was sometime ago. i dont remember exactly what they finally determined -- excited delerium. i dont think my memory fails me on this one. no words can describe, i've only just gained an understanding of how wrong that seems, or how wrongly things can go "in custody" of ANYWHERE or ANYONE
what in medical terms makes people delerious--they include reasons that would make anyone delerious--infection, head injury, a drug, among other reasons, which are things that could happen to any of us--you can reign me in if need be but
i have read reports of people suffocating on their stomache contents (aspiration? whatevr), pillows, mats, being "laid" upon or just plain strapped down cuza "excited delirium" and died of heart attach, in the medical professional's opinion. thats what i was thinking when you mention chas m.
i can only review their facts
i am wondering about ((in residential/boot camp/ wilderness, WASP,)) the kids taking their medication. after much review/counseling, evaluating, determinatin, etc. etc. a few kinds of meds, my son takes a med and does much better w/it (afer). some of the meds he tried made him feel worse. this medication thing takes consideration/adjustment, evaluating, or some say oh, just no med at all. so, that being, and being away from home--everyone has had to stand there while someone most assuredly has taken their med. "monitoring" them.
everyone has a grama, son/daugher, whomever, have take make sure they tookit at some time or another b/c they maybe were taking it or not, they weren't capable of making that determination themselves.
if you have not had to do this, you will at some time. MEDS
-important-consideration
on a lighter note:
to med or not to med . . .
