I have been told this is more like a typical
boarding school for teens with fewer
problems and nothing like the others.
Is this not true. Have there been any
reported allegations of abuse or neglect
or any other issues? Where can I get
more info on this school? Thanks for
the input!!!

You're dead wrong about Ivy Ridge being better than other WWASP programs. Ivy Ridge is one of the "newer" programs. WWASP schools have a history of being forced to close by government officials, being raided by government officials, and having lawsuits filed against them.
When are people going to learn? This web of deceipt is by Bob Lichfield of St. George, Utah. He is a former USED CAR SALESMAN. Wake up, people! Instead of selling used cars, he is selling boot camps under the deceptive label of "schools" and "teen programs."

First off... that program in NY called Ivy Ridge is like all the others.. recently about 2 days ago a girl came home and only stayed a week and was already fourced to sleep on the cement, with no blankets. With -15 degree weather.. she was only allowed to wear shorts, and a tank-top. She wasnt allowed to eat the entire week, only once and they gave her the fat of the pork....

The thing that people need to remember about all WWASP/Teen Help "programs" (yes Ivy Ridge Academy is a part of this empire) is that their not like typical boarding schools you see in the movies etc. They use a boot camp style structure. The facilities have small rooms they call "special needs" or "Observation" which is really isolation. Teens will spend anywhere from 24 hours to 2+ months straight. And yes kids really do spend more than 2 months in these rooms. They get to leave for a shower break (if they are allowed, and bathroom breaks, which is used as a form of punishment sometimes). So if you still want a boot camp style structure where teens walk in straight lines, get yelled at, etc., than look else where. The WWASP/Teen Help programs are not safe. They have had 2 programs shut down, and an adolescent hospital was closed by them after it came under investigation for failure to submit abuse reports, and basically for referring any and all teens to 12-24 months in a WWASP/Teen Help program no matter what their condition was. WWASP/Teen Help programs our like the Kmarts of these programs, theres no personal care. There have been multiple lawsuits filed against WWASP/Teen Help, but the owners say they have not paid any settlements before, but they forgot to mention all of the out of court settlements and confidential agreements signed by broke parents who are trying to get their money back after they were conned. I will never understand why parents dont get it, there are many news articles about WWASP/Teen Help (which are negative), lawsuits, and programs shut down, yet they still send their teens to these programs. I guess the mutliple layers of WWASP/Teen Help, the 100's of web pages they have up promoting WWASP/Teen Help, and the pyramid of referrals (where a parent gets $1000 for referring a teen or a free month of tuition) does the trick. I believe the WWASP/Teen Help empire will fall eventually, not only for abuse and neglect but for fraud as well. It wouldnt surprise me if the owners of WWASP/Teen Help spend the rest of their lifes in prison.

This is absolutely true. I made contact and personally talked with this family. As I result, my child was removed. The psychic damage is a tragedy. WWASP, Teen Help are conning thieves. Program is misrepresented. Follow the money/paper trail - right to St. George, Utah. Big business, used car dealers, real estate - crooks. The program is designed to manipulate the parents out of their money. Finish all the seminars and see how much money is left. Imprisonment in school vs. imprisonment in jail. Even if children make mistakes - they still deserve justice.

They have given you numbers, numbers of those who speak religiously about WWASP/Teen Help, many have said that they believe WWASP/Teen Help to be a form of a cult. Look, there are way too many people speaking out against WWASP/Teen Help for this to be a lie. If you have a hard time beleiving personal stories, research past news coverage about WWASP/Teen Help. These organizations have nothing to gain (and neither do those who are speaking out, other than preventing this nation tragedy) but news organization will show the facts behind all these horror stories you can read on these forums. And please dont consider calling the phone numbers WWASP/Teen Help gives a form of reasearch, we all know what those people on the other end will say, and they may even give you their referral code. WWASP/Teen Help is one big tupperware party with pyramid marketing and hidden referral payments, but their not selling tupperware their selling teens.

My daughter has never been charged with anything!!!!!!
She has never hurt anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is a sweet girl. She is a normal teen who has normal curiosities. Her mother is the one with the problems.
Your response as anonymous provides me no validity for your support for the entity you so valiantly defend and leads me to believe that you are affiliated with the nation wide facilities in question. You must be trying to protect your job or have a personal business interest in the child exploitation business that many as well as I feel is nothing more than a money gouging creature. I have been in personal contact with an actual or former ( I will not say which ) employee of these various facilities and I have been told that the allegations are absolutely true and that the employees are made to sign a contract not to divulge anything to anyone about the program.
Our local dept of juvenile justice generally does a good job at handling the issues that arise from children who have any criminal activity. My daughter has never had any dealing with the dept of juvenile justice or ever been to juvenile court for anything, crimes or allegations, attributed to her.
You need to get a real life, whoever you are, and stop helping others to legally harm helpless children. God will hold you accountable one day even if you yourself do not!
