Ok, this is pure product of your over active imagination. I have banned IPs and whole classes of them in order to stop flooding and hacking. Not to add insult to injury (well... maybe so) but you're not even particularly good at it. Woweee! Cascading quotes! Now, that's original! Shit, I had one of these young kids redirecting every page to one of the Program recruiting pages. Now that was a challenge!
I generally lift the flooding/hacking bans after the flooding or hacking stops.
I don't recall anything about ten or fifteen people ever agreeing upon anything ever in the entire history of these forums, except that Virgil is the Devil.
What I said, and you can believe me or not as you please, is that several people
who you (I'm guessing, but it's a very well informed guess) slandered and threatened were angry or frightened enough to start asking about how to proceed to sic the cops and/or lawyers on you.
See, I fucking get it! You asked me to edit something because you found it offensive and hurtful. I told you no, that's not the standard. Lots of the content here is offensive or hurtful to someone. I don't censor based on whether or not a like the author or agree with their views. I delete clear and obvious spam and flooding (leaving the ambiguous stuff alone) and I will edit or delete anon posts
time permitting if I can be reasonably sure that it really is the author who wants it done, not some asshole trying to shut someone else up.
Now, I have to add that caveat about time because, my dear old friend, I know you at least that well. I won't play the game where you blast a thousand posts from a few hundred different proxies and then try to tie me up tracking them all down. So if you ever decide to do that, please be ever so careful not to put anything out there that you'll seriously regret. I may not be able to help you out in that case.
And, speaking of being ever so careful, I notice that you're ever so careful not to ever make an actionable statement against the Semblers or any other Program officials or staff. What's up w/ that? Why pick on Sammie and Rich and Wes and me? Honest to God, not that I think it's the most likely explanation, but I do often wonder if you're doing this out of solidarity for your current Program group.
We ought to be grateful that our government monopoly schools are such a failure. If today's 18 year olds could do arithmetic, they'd be out buying enough rope to hang everybody over 40.
