Good movie.Another case of 15 min. of fame followed by celebrated insanity alla;
Syd Barrett,Daniel Johnston. I know a fellow like this (sort of). He had spent a great deal of his life in the Fl. state hospital in Arcadia.He would come around our little demo studio with his poetry,and try to write songs with whoever he could.we wound up recording 14 of his poems,(out of tons of weirdness).There were several bands rehearsing there at the time,and lots of people lent their musical hands and ears. Sometimes he would be completely lucid,then he would go off his meds,and we wouldn't see him for a while. He's stable now but he doesn't write anymore. He says it's his medication. But he's doing well though.We thought of realeasing some of the recordings, But finishing and real mastering costs $$, So here they sit. I wont flood this board with downloadable links.If anyone's interested in some of this fringe music, pm me and I'll, send along mp3's.

Hi Froderik,
I didn't watched Roky Erickson film You're Gonna Miss Me but I will watch this movie now.
Palm Pictures released many famous pictures in the past like Memories of Murder, The Basketball Diaries, Calvaire and The Believer.
