Miller Newton's education
« on: December 02, 2003, 06:00:00 PM »
Miller talks about the Minnesota Model from Johnson and Johnson.  I found some books in the  that he more than like used to study out of.  The first one is called "Joining Together"  Group theory and group skills. The copyright is 1975. The name of the chapters almost sound familiar:

1. Intro
2. Leadership
3. Decision Making
4. Group Goals
5. Communication Within Groups
6. Contoversy and Creativity
7. Conflicts of Interest
8. The Use of Power
9. Cohesion and Norms
10.Problem Solving
11.Leading discussion groups
12.Leading Growth Groups
13.Team Building

Epilogue  (Terminating a Group  Self-Contract)

Appendix A Conducting Skill-Training Exercises
Appendix B Ethics of Experiential Learning
Appendix C How to Compute a Group Average
Appendix D Answers
Appendix E Exercixe Materials

I thought someone might find these interesing.
