I started reading the prologue to this, available here.
It's re-affirming the notion that I wasn't such a fool for not being that into school.

that is why my son goes to a hippie school (I am so glad I am in this upstate Tree Hugger Area)

One of my kids got me this for Christmas. Great book. I read it straight through. Turns out JTG was born and raised in Monongahela City (formerly Williamsport), not 20 minutes from my new home town.
