Froderick, how do you expect to get down to the truth if you won't look at the evidence?

Sorry, but whoever posted that long-ass post should use links instead. Who wants to scroll thru all that dead space and bullshit? Not me...Besides SOMEONE could just do us the honors of telling the truth in a few sentences, and we could be done with all of this crap, which is really what I'd like anyway...

Sorry, it's just not that simple. We've got a bunch of different people telling different stories about the same set of events and circumstances. Would be nice if there were some shining white, chaste and pure hero who could tell us all just exactly what the truth is about everything. But, in this world, it just doesn't work that way. If you need to get down to the bottom of this for your own satisfaction, you're going to have to dig and keep digging till your satisfied. Otherwise you'll just have to be content with not knowing for sure.

Madness takes its toll.  Please have exact change.

The thing is, we have some people (I won't mention any names,  ) who are NOT  "telling different stories about the same set of events and circumstances." She's doing ANYTHING BUT. How many times did I pose the SAME question (here it is again, lest ye forget - "Why did you sell out to WWASP") to have someone beat around the bush and answer everything BUT that question. This is a simple truth. Evasiveness on her part. I dare you to deny that. You want this bullshit to stop? So do I!! But you know as well as I do that as long as there are unanswered questions here, that ain't gonna happen.

I do sincerely apologize to everyone for this crap. I don't like it either...

Froderick, if you bothered to read the public record regarding this case, you would see there are consequences for not telling the truth.

Perhaps someone can explain to you just what those consequences are. No spin, just the facts maam.

Frod, what do you want me to do? Profess undying hatred for Carey? Want me to join in the bashing? Don't hold your breath. There is only a short list of people on this planet who I really hate, and about half of those are kin.

Let me go down a partial list of people I don't hate, OK? Just for perspective.

I don't hate the ppl who sabotaged the conference last year. It's sad that it happened and how it happened. But it wasn't intentional, really. It was just misdirected anger and paranoia, I think.

I don't hate the PURE ppl. I don't like how they operate, but again, it's just a case of that special brand of fanaticism that goes along with a bad case of holy higher purpose.

I don't hate Melissa for pissing off Rich Titsch, nor do I hate Titsch for being such a sensitive fellow.

I don't hate the drug warriors, for they know not what they do. I don't even hate people who feed their toddlers ritalin. I think they're misguided. I don't hate GW Büsh, either. He just scares me a LOT! And I don't hate the Democrats, either, though they don't scare me much less.

Don't get me wrong, I am not defficient in the level or intensity of hate. I guess I got my fair share. I just save it for the truely deserving.

Ok, I don't know what else to say. So I'm turning it over to the King.

I found this message amazing!

Brethren share the blood and bloodlines carry genes that come to serve the world. It is hard to serve, but service is the purpose. Please, bring more light in, right now? I am sitting on a golden cloud and whistling a song... People, you are brothers. You share the same human blood and cells, and red blood cells make you brothers. Look at everyone as a brother even if you hate the guy. Okay, hate him if you cannot feel anything else, but know that you hate your brother. What about that? Yes, you despise him, but he is your brother. You are white, you are rich. A Haiti guy is black and fears spirits, but he is your brother. If you don't like him, you hate yourself. So you better stop hating, you better love yourself. Say you are black, you are poor, you are on drugs, and you hate white folks so badly that you want them out of your face. But the only thing that you get for your hatred is doors closing on yourself. Your kid will never learn if you suggest to him that learning is a white people's thing? Hatred is an arrow that boomerangs back to the source, straight into your heart or worse, into the hearts of your beloved ones. How about that? You hate whites but you will reap hatred of your own people against you. This is how it works. Whatever you do, at this end you arrive. I am going. The drug people still arrive in big volumes and in bad condition. I am through for now.

No, no need to profess your hatred...All that I ever wanted from you is a little acknowledgement - about the fact that she's (to quote Chris Poole) "more slippery than a wet jellyfish." That's all...

Thank you for the Elvis quote, I mean it...

Well I'm just not so sure that's true. I've seen a whole lot of really horrible behavior lately. If I were to attribute it all to malice and bad intent, I suppose there wouldn't be any good reason to keep these forums going because every one of us would be the bad guys by that definition.

When Plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in a society, they create for themselves in the course of time, a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.

Fuck that. I'm on the level. I don't claim to know anything that isn't already self-evident. No fucking wonder there's been a lot of "horrible behavior" lately. Fuck this bullshit. Let someone else go off about her. I don't care anymore... :silly:

I don't hate the ppl who sabotaged the conference last year. It's sad that it happened and how it happened. But it wasn't intentional, really. It was just misdirected anger and paranoia, I think.

And oh yeah, word has it that ISAC did not fuck up anything. (y'know, like you stated B4 somewhere else) That is to say that Safety fucked up a $1000 donation that almost happened.. Woooops!

I do know that PURE referred 19 students to Sorenson's Ranch the month of July '02.

How common is it in the teen help industry for programs to pay fees to independent referral sources?

I don't have a feel for the entire industry but I can share how it was done with one facility.

The TBS required a referal from an Ed Con. At the parent workshop before the first visit, the Head Master told parents they would receive a $250 refund if they showed documentation that they had used an Ed Con. His tone absolutely infered that it would be a good idea to kick that back to the Ed Con when he said, "We can't compensate the Ed Con, but parents are free to use the refund as they choose".
