An American Gulag

You're in Lauderdale? Man, I just spent the last 10 years nagging, cajoling and generally buttering up my husband to get him to agree to get the hell out of there!

Just moved into SW Pennsylvania. Yeah, I know. There are Program ties and influences here, too. But the local culture isn't entirely amenable to conformity.

I'm right with ya' on regards to the past, though. I'm not about retribution and don't really see myself as a victim. Want a victim? Look to some kids who didn't make the trip, or some other kid who's perfectly wonderful parents got dragged off by the SWAT team because they took the DARE officer's friendly advice to turn them in to the authorities.

This has been about the most interesting couple of years for me, though. This stuff is significant mainly because the perpetrators have done nothing but prosper in money and power in the meant time. That can't be allowed to stand; they're a major threat to national security.
