Yeah, but don't they also provide a lot of information? Besides, if you've used them once (and we all have) then they pretty much have all your info anyway.

You're killin' me over here..

It doesn't really matter much whether you use google or not. They're still collecting data. Not only do they do all kinds of data mining, they also do a lot of data farming. Google's good at that but they don't have a corner on the market. If you're really concerned, consider 86ing your facebook accounts. The only difference is that Google is very open about what they gather and what they do with it. Adding ads will not make a difference.
