Personally, I'd rather not have a man with a chain saw watching any gate I wanted to go through - but thats just me.

Lets stand him up.
Lets make him be honest.
Lets get him out of his head.
Lets stop his conning.
And lets strip away his phony self impotance.
But alas we can do none of these things because his name is in green.

It's not easy being green

“Alas” You actual say this as if this were regrettable?

None-ya, none of this can be done because we are not in program. We are (most of us) adults willingly participating in forum discussion not an encounter group or a rap. All of the denigration and endless random vitriol that is so evocative of program experience has waned recently. It may be boring to some, but I considered it change for the better.

BTW, does it influence your opinion of Gatekeeper’s role here to know that they were also at one point a kid in program?

How does this level system for the survivor strata work? Would those who spent a lot of time in the first row or as a shot down be more um, valid than anyone whose experience took them to status member or second stage or phase as the case may be?

I wonder if it might be easier to understand your actual grievance if you stated it without turning it in to  ::poke:: . What is it that you take issue with: Gatekeeper having worked at a wilderness camp or specific instances where you feel moderation was undue or unjust or just moderation in general... what?

No. not because (he/she) was in a program, but beeause (he/she) worked at one.
Not to mention (his/her) moderation technique sucks. moving, splitting, and outright deleting threads to suit (him/her)self.
Subjectively enforcing (his/ her) own rules,. Sending private threats and warnings to those you do not agree with is not the way of free speech, it is the language of the program. BTW, anybody know if it's he keeper or she keeper?

How's that?

That was me quoting you, quoting Dan Akroyd.
Maybe it's your own failed attempt at humor that's got your panties in a wad.
Tell us where you worked! Tell us of the abuses you wittnessed or maybe even participated in. With all you know about fornits, do you really expect survivors to trust you anymore than they trust whooter?

Geez. I was gonna say, that sounds like a paraphrase of the opener in the article in question:

"Jane, you ignorant slut." No one who heard Dan Ackroyd make that statement on the early Saturday Night Live shows had any doubt that he was about to strongly disagree with whatever Jane Curtin had just said...[/list]

Are people losing their sense of humor 'round here?
