After all this hype surrounding the filing of a massive class-action-lawsuit, now we hear that's not the case at all? Why all the misinformation?  Debating about who is and who is not a "lead plaintiff"?  Does anybody really know what's going on?

No lawfirm would consider representing a class of plaintiffs if in their opinion, they would not be able to meet the standards for certification.

Class action - Direct Action, it is all legal stuff that as many laymen dont understand. But the fact remains, there is a LAWSUIT being filed against WWASPS. Who cares about lead plaintiffs as long as WWASPS is held accountable.

CLASS ACTION ? a suit brought by one or more members of a large group of persons on behalf of all members of the group.  If the court permits the class action,  all members must receive notice of the action and must be given an opportunity to exclude themselves.  Members who do not exclude themselves are bound by the judgementm whether favorable or not.

Sounds to me like all parents past and present have to be notified of the class action suit if and when it is filed. Maybe that is the reason why they are changing what type of suit is being filed.

Now, as far as a direct action law suit, does anyone know what that is?

After reading the Erin Brockovich case, I saw that Hinckley had a Direct Action also.  I hope someone can explain the difference.

Whatever the technical definition, this is significant:

Keynote speakers are always an educational component trade-show attendees enjoy, and judging the line at the book signing after her presentation, Erin Brockovich delivered. As she explained her rise from unemployment and failed personal relationships to uncovering the scandal with Pacific Gas and Electric and the people of Hinkley, California, her message became clear: it?s not the size of the dog in the fight, it?s the size of the fight in the dog. Her persistence and determination prevailed in a direct-action lawsuit, resulting in $333 million settlement?the largest in U.S. history. She says to always seek the truth, don?t compromise your integrity, have sticktoitiveness and let your head and your heart work in tandem.

I'm certain "their leaders" already know everything there is to know from fact, not allegations they read on the net.
