I'm glad to see finally coming to understand that we were inmates, and we were incarcerated. It's good to see you making some progress. Now then, to answer your question I have first tell you that I don't cling to the date of my incarceration at HLA like a milestone as you apparently do. It was a year of being abused and wasting time that did me no good. It was something I was glad to move on from and I honestly didn't really talk much about it at all until I came onto fornits.

That being said you're right when you say fair is fair. You did give me an exact date and I should do the same for you. I know classes ended the last week of May in my public highschool, and I know I left a little over two weeks later for HLA. So I will say the date of my incarceration was 06/17/96.

Just to jump in and clarify quickly.  You will notice that in parenthesis after the words inmate and incarceration he wrote "Your word".  Parenthesis are used as a clarifier or as an explanatory.  The parenthesized (Your word) is indicating that he does not believe in the descriptor and therefore means just the opposite of what you came to understand that you both agreed on this terminology.
 
I hope this helps to clear things up.

The words incarceration and inmate are your descriptive words, Bruce.  People outside of fornits (or outside of that thinking) do not use these in the same context that you do,

Joe something. He was on restrictions staff Short stocky guy, always walked around with one of those water backpacks. It wasn't quite a month. As I mentioned most of the time we were sent out to Devil's Kitchen, but they moved me around some. Probably to keep me from running away.
