Best not to email these folks, but to call them and ask to speak with someone.  ASK questions about the viability of the class-action, when they expect to file and who the lead plaintiffs are.  You might also ask for an explanation as to why the DELAY in filing rather than accept an explanation from an anonymous source who is clearly not an official spokesperson for HURON. Whatever you do, make sure you get the facts so you can make an INFORMED decision.

Wonder what that's all about?  Not even a return call?  I don't buy the "they're so busy with other families" that they don't have enough time.  That's rude - to not even answer you.  What does that say about Huron?

I'd rather sue the counselor and psychiatrist that recommends a kid to an inpatient rehab or hospital - pumping them with drugs for a diagnosis because the parents want a quick fix.

Or the counselor that sits with  kid week after week with no results.

First they ignore you.
Then they laugh at you.
Then they fight you.
Then you win.

Anon.,

Give me a break.  Why would "Huron speak for its self" on this forum?  Are you for real?

They owe you nothing! Nothing.

Wait and wonder.

Not everyone is welcomed. If you have not heard back that speaks for itself.

Not everyone is welcomed?  What is this, a KANGAROO COURT? The anon who asked why HURON doesn't speak for itself was referring to HURON using THEIR OWN WEBSITE to promote their legal services, instead of relying upon an anonymous spokesperson (and/or Karen XYZ) to seemingly round up clients for them.

"I'm wondering if you've got the correct number to call?

I have never had a problem getting ahold of Rick Wilf at Huron, and I've called several times about getting my son interviewed. It took some planning to get them both a time they could talk.  Email responses can take awhile - but thats not unusual.

I believe the current process for anyone interested is to email Rick Wilf; or write or fax; explain your a potential wwasp plaintiff; leave pertinent info - name, age, Program, dates in, and contact information ; and he then puts you on a call list and will do a phone call and interview.

Its possible you've missed the call - or the number was wrong - or something?

Try again, or just call and ask to speak with Mr. Wilf.

Karen, have you and your son joined the class-action lawsuit?  Also, what is the role of the other lawfirm (Erin B.'s) and approximately how many families have joined to date?
