Shine a Positive Light   ::rainbow::

Feeling negative about your situation only serves to keep you stuck in that situation. Is that really what you want?

The situation may indeed be very difficult. And as such, the best thing you can do is to move positively away from it, leaving those difficulties behind.

Finding the positive possibilities will provide you with a way forward. Looking for the positive aspects of a difficult situation is not naive; it is a shrewd, realistic and effective strategy. Discouragement is never a foregone conclusion. It is only one of many responses that you can choose.

There is indeed a way out, a way forward. Do you want to find that way? If so, then shine a positive light on the situation rather than getting mired in its difficulties. Choose to move forward, and you'll make a way to do it.

I'm pretty sure that's the thinking behind the class action; a positive way to move forward from a horrendously bad situation.

The only difference between me and a madman is that I am not mad.

I guess that's why there are so many lawyers in the world?!  Putting myself in that situation, joining a class action, wouldn't help me move forward as the satisfaction would only come from my "ego" not my heart.  To each his own -

Yes, to each his/her own-
And programs that abuse should be glad that there are lawyers and more "civilized" means of seeking justice... otherwise they might find themselves facing angry lynching mobs... ya know, an eye for an eye justice.
Better yet, they should be confined for the remainer of their lives, not in a traditional prison where they would have certain rights, but in a facility designed after their own. That would be justice.
And that would bring great satisfaction to my ego and heart. Contrary to seminar propoganda, the heart and mind must work together in order to have any kind of balance.

Ginger,

That is a huge part of my reason for joining a class action, also to hold accountable the evil people who asked me to be accountable, committed to their Program.Asking me trust the family rep, while they were deliberately harming my child, neglecting, abusing, threatening, for money.

That to me is not ok.They need to be and will be held responsible for those choices they made.

I did in good faith what they had asked of me.
They lied and lied and lied. From day one they were lying.

Healing comes from taking positive action.Healing comes with helping others. That was is my purpose.

The Seminars gave me many positive tools. Tools that I choose to my advantage to fight the evil empire. Thank you Resourse Realizations.!

Thomas Paine said "If there is to be trouble, let it be in my day so that my child may have peace." That pretty well sums up my whole interest in this subject.

There's always talk of various kinds of legal actions that we might pursue against Straight, the individuals involved in it and the new corporate entities they've established. But, for most of us, the statute of limitations is past. Maybe some brilliant legal team will one day find a way to hold some of these criminals to account.

I don't hold out a lot of hope for that. But you guys are in the position to do something now. So more power to ya! And God bless you for figuring it out and siding with your kids so early on. Whether you know it or not, WWASP and other "therapeutic" community providers are direct beneficieries of Drug Free America Foundation and Save Our Society lobbying. See, it really isn't just the money, though money is power and it's a vital part of the equation. But the driving force behind the TOUGHLOVE parent hategroup movement is pure, garden variety religious indoctrination.

I'd be just as amenable to shipping all of the proponants to some lovely Caribean island where they may live comfortably in exile and enjoy eachother's company as to seeing them suffer. All I want out of the deal is for my children and my grandchildren to be safe from their predations.

Legalizing drugs is far from a panacea for all the distress caused by drugs, but it will eliminate most of the profit and corruption from the drug trade.
