PLEASE shut this place down if you can.
I went there for 7 months. I saw girls thrown through walls by other girls, I have had my light bulb taken away, I have seen cops there at least once a month. 180 call since 2007. words straight from a police officer. Stop this place. It makes people go to extreme they would otherwise never consider. Like breaking and entering to use the computer to tell their friends where they are. To do a simple thing like use a phone. Or break down doors. Or steal food. break into a pantry to do something as simple as stealing food...beacuse we cannot eat whenever we are allowed. we do not have free access to food.

--- Quote from: "Dale Stohn and Robert Shaw" ---For a few years before the school formed, we were working with teenagers through a week-long workshop we developed called Living Inside Out. Our objective was to meet a need expressed by parents who were looking for answers: They were seeking to help their teenage children remain safe from unhealthy peer group pressures, failing grades, depression, explosive anger, bullying and from the allure of drugs, sex and violence.

"Living Inside Out," apparently, appears to have some connection to what Dale Stohn was involved in before she dipped her toes in the troubled teen industry. According to the description in the following byline, she was a lead facilitator for an LGAT known as the Hoffman Institute Canada.

Another fornits poster alerted me to the following blurb about Dale, which appeared on a page describing / advertising her thermography clinic in the Winter '09 issue (Vol. 3, No.  2) of the newage newsletter It's Your Life: Live it well (published by "Life Renewal and Reinvention Specialist" Marie Knapp of DallaCor); color emphasis added:

Dale Stohn B.A., O.T.C., C.T.T. taught elementary school in Parry Sound and Toronto before becoming Canada's lead facilitator of the 8-day Emotional Growth Process at the Hoffman Institute Canada. This led her to a Psychotherapy Private Practice and then Co-Founder and Co-Facilitator of 5-Day Residential Emotional Growth Program for Teenagers in 1995. Since 1999, Dale has been Co-Founder and Dirctor of Canada's Only Ministry-Licensed, Therapeutic, Private Boarding School for Teenage Girls - the Rocklyn Academy. "This year Dale became a Clinical Thermographic Technician through the International Academy of Clinical Thermology."
My guess is that the "5-Day Residential Emotional Growth Program for Teenagers" that Dale Stohn co-developed in 1995 was based, in large part, on the 8-day protocol followed for the "spiritual growth" seminars put on by the Hoffman Institute. And, as noted in the above article, "School had its beginnings in 'Inside Out' program," Rocklyn Academy was born out of that 5-day residential program for adolescents:

Hoffman Process -> "Living Inside Out" program -> Rocklyn Academy
There's a fair amount of material on the Hoffman Process — originally known as the Fischer-Hoffman Psychic Therapy back in the late '60s/early '70s, and currently known as the Hoffman Quadrinity Process — in the Hyde forum. In particular,
