Been lingering and reading for a while and don't hear much about Carlbrook.  Can anyone comment on the comparisons between Carlbrook and the old school confrontational emotional growth model that got MBA shut down and cited for abusive practices?  Are there any efforts to report the practices that seems to be going on at Carlbrook?

Carlbrook would appear to have a lot in common with Mount Bachelor Academy. Both of them were heavily influenced by CEDU.

Thanks for the all the great information!  Does anyone know if there are any movements to report some of the abusive workshops like the Mount Bachelor grads did?  Are there any Carlbrook grads out there who know of such a plan?  It seems that they are following the same Emotional Growth, workshop, CEDU derived model that shut down Mount Bachelor.  

The parent handbook you posted is fascinating!  How does a family willingly sign on to that?  Especially with the very limited visitation scheduled spelled out like that!?!

Some time ago we started to work on charting the structure of the workshops at CEDU and CEDU-spin off schools.
