Dear Ms. Yatsco:
Re: your correspondence dated Sept 12, 2003.
Ms. Yatsco, I tried to review the url to which you direct my attention but it seems to have been typed incorrectly. It is a given that some statements made on any unmoderated public forum must be false because, inevitably, some of them contradict each other. I make no effort to identify anonymous posters or to verify or refute the accuracy of their statements. I make absolutely no representation to the contrary either in the terms of use or otherwise.
I am neither party to nor defendant in any lawsuit and, therefore, not subject to any injunction. To the best of my knowledge, neither are any of the people who post to the forum in question. If they are, as stated in the terms of use, it?s their responsibility, not mine.
I believe your letter is an attempt to intimidate me and to discourage public participation and that any suit against me seeking to prevent free speech on any topic would be frivolous and malicious. You may well ?win? on behalf of your client if they have enough money and the will to harass me. But you will not succeed in keeping anything quiet. In fact I will do everything in my power to ensure that anything you do to me you will do right out in the open in a most public way.
Finally, please inform Mr. Finlinson and any other interested parties that they are just as welcome as anyone to post to this forum and to refute any statements they feel are inaccurate or unkind.
Sincerely,
Ginger Warbis
